It just isn't fair, i always have to wait till it comes out on dvd before i can see it. That means i have to wait another 8 months!!!!
I've given up guessing what is going to happen but i may suggest some kind of transport bombing (aka july in london), as there is always some reality in what the guys and girls at 24 write. I just hope that Tony makes and appearence and bring back Chase and while you're there a little of Kim would be cool. I really missed her, we need just a couple of minutes with her... that's all i ask. So excited...it's going to be the longest 8 months of my life...

I usually tivo the whole season and then watch it in what ends up being a big marathon, I don't think I can do it this year. I'm just so excited for this season. I think the mullet goes quick, the previews they have have been showing on FOX he is back to the clean cut.
Oh, and just to get you by for the next bunch of days, look up what Keifer has been doing in London lately. It has to do with being drunk, and beating up a Christmas tree. Do a search it's worth a laugh. And then in 10 days, Jack's back! |

Yes yes yes yes yes. I am ridiculously excited for this season to start. Sean Astin joins the cast for at least the first four episodes and, honestly, what could be better than Rudy and Jack Bauer on screen at the same time?
I have a completely foundless (let me re-emphasize that NOTHING has been said to ground this) belief that Jack might not make it out of this season alive. Guess we'll have to see. And mullet-Jack is awesome. I have a special place in my heart for beginning of season 2 mountain-man Jack. The mullet might crowd that a little bit. I'll try to survive. |

On another topic... how many people is Jack going to have to kill this time out? From what I can recall in previous seasons he has killed around 50/24 hours. Will he meet or break his record today? I propose a little TFP informal contest. Have your guesses in next week before the start of the episode on Jan23rd. We'll keep a running total going after than and whoever guesses the closest.... well wins bragging rights or something. I guess the only rules would be; 1. Jack has to be at least 50% responsible for killing a guy (IE: shoots him, breaks his neck etc...) 2. It has to be a confirmed kill (IE: cubbing a guy on the noggin is likely just putting him out of commision for a few minutes). Game on!

so much for hte idea of him having a mullet...
Great premier. I can't wait till tomorrow. My love/hate relationship with the show continues. That lady made it from Bakersfield to LAX in about 1.5 hrs? lol. Jack may be the only person who can take on Chuck Norris and live to tell about it. Put me down for 35 kills for Jack. |

I was not in any way disappointed, though the first 20 minutes had me totally speechless. Talk about a preimer that just sinks its teeth into you and hold on tight. Wow.
This season can't happen fast enough. It looks like it's going to be awesome. Spoiler: I hate Logan's aide so much. God I want him to die a slow, horrible death, preferably at the hands of the Chinese. Edit: Put me down for 43. |

m0rpheus, your best bet for finding out what happened is the Fox.com episode guide here: http://www.fox.com/24/episodes/
OK... so that was awesome. The only complaint that I had was that the opening credits for the first episode mentioned a "Special Guest Star: Denis Haysbert." So he was pretty much marked for death the instant I read that. The Michelle/Tony thing was a little more shocking. Can't wait for tonite. Jack Bauer Death Count 7am-8am 3 Thugs in the oilfeild 8am-9am 0 The baggage handler does not count Total*****3

Let's see, the last half hour....
Spoiler: After Jack eludes the Secret Service and FBI thanks to Chloe, he and the kid (don't remember his name off the top of my head) steal a car and contact the mother asking her to meet them at the Ontario Airport so Jack can follow up on the lead he got from Pres Palmer's computer. Chloe is taken into custody by CTU and brought back for questioning and arrives back at the end of the episode. Jack and the kid have a heart to heart in the car on the way to the airport and Jack tells him he cares for him and his mother. When they get to the airport Jack returns the kid to his mother and tells them to go to CTU and explain to them Jack could not have been involed with the assination because he was with them this morning. Jack leaves them and goes into the terminal to look for the Chenyekov (sp?) guy. While the mother and son are leaving the airport the kid sees a bunch of suspicious looking guys get out of the back of a truck and decides aagainsts his mother's wishes to try and find Jack to let him know what he saw. Jack finds Chenyekov's office and just as he confronts him hears and explosion and gunshots. The suspicious men have taken over the terminal with Jack and the kid inside. While Jack is distracted Chenyekov takes a cyanide pill and dies and that's about it. EDIT: Almost forgot probably the most important part. Spoiler: At the very end, you see the 'mastermind' of the events so far having a phone conversation with President Logan's aide Cummings. Cummings tells him that he doctored the tape of the conversation between Mrs Logan and Pres Palmer Last edited by BulletCatcher; 01-16-2006 at 09:46 AM.. |

I totally forgot about it. I missed the first 20 minutes. I was so pissed. I cant beleive i had to find out what happened by seeing it on the news that was on a tv in the show. I thought it was kinda funny to see Michelle all chubby. I guess she didnt feel the need to slim down since she was only going to be in one episode. Im not upset she died, that story wasnt going anywhere. Now tony is going to be out for revenge. Maybe it'll be Jack trying to keep tabs on him instead of vice versa. Anyway, any word on Elisha Cuthbert coming back.

TorrentSpy would probably be your best bet for tracking down a missed episode.
After four episodes, this season is on fire.

I have one word for anyone who questions this: puma. 'nough said. On the other hand, said puma led us to that delicious scene of her in a wifebeater, so you have to take the good with the bad. Anyway, the next twenty weeks are going to be awesome if they keep up with the first four hours. Man am I excited! JACK IS BACK BABY! Spoiler: I concede that I yelped with glee when he shot the guy in the hand when he was trying to kill himself. SO AWESOME! |

Hold on, back up a bit... Did Chloe just sleep with someone?! Someone besides Jack and Edgar can stand her for more than a few seconds? And notice how she doesn't hesitate to shoot people now.
Out here in LA, 93.1 JACK FM had a 24 hour commercial free marathon to help promote 24. It ended just as 24 was set to start .

Well I broked down, was going to tivo the whole season. Accidently watched the first 5 minutes, well how could you stop after that.
Now I'm worried that the end of winter and then spring will drag because I'm waiting each week for 24. At least it's every week with no breaks and no "catch you up" episodes. One thing about characters though. Someone was saying Tony will be out for revenge. If Tony comes back from that massive head trauma in the same day, I'm going to lose a bit of faith in the show. I mean we know he doesn't eat, sleep, take a dump, but to recover from that in less than 24 hours would be a real stretch. |

Alright, since I'm going to be offline for a few days, here are the official Jack Bauer Body Count/Bloodbath Spectacular game guesses.
shortynickel - 51 Brewmaniac - 40 Hambone - 47 Frosstbyte - 43 kutulu - 35 the_marq - 42 You can still enter, but your guesses have to be in before the Jan23rd episode airs... say 9pm EST (but to be honest, who gives a shit, this is just for fun. guess away).

Hey, let's have a Kill Pool!!! Winner gets bragging rights! One question though... Remember when Kim had to shoot someone to save her self in Day 2? Jack was on the cell with her, tells her to point the gun at his chest, and pull the trigger. Would that count as Jack's kill or Kim's kill? She wouldn't have shot him if he wasn't on the phone with her. Should these assisted kills go to Jack or the civilian?

It was a good kill though.
It seems like Jack and Samwise hit it off, both thinking on the same wavelength. At first that McGill character rubbed me the wrong way, but I like the idea that he'll act as someone who sees eye to eye with Jack.

Actually, I got a question. They seemed to deduce that it was someone in President Logan's administration that was involved. How did they figure that? And I think this was even before Spencer spilled the beans about the internal affairs stuff. I was confused.

Audruy (is that how it's spelled?) has not only forgiven Jack for Paul's death, but still really, really likes him. And let's hope that there aren't any profession dasiels in distress like when Kim was kidnapped and/or in danger through out the all of Seasons 1 & 2.
