Reminder to all survivor fans that Survivor is on today - Wednesday again.
|
I'll be glad when basketball is over....its screwing up my tc schedule!!
Although, Im not real keen on watching anymore now that Angie is gone :( |
Forgot it was on tonight. :(
Recap, anyone? |
James fucked on the reward and immunity challenge...fortunately Steph kicked ass on the reward and Ulong won that....but they once again went to tribal. They are down to three
James was voted out |
Steph is the best female player I have ever seen on there. She really deserves to win!
|
Im sorry to me Angie kicked ass....she was a HUGE asset in the challenges
Steph out and out lied to Bobby Jon tonite about who she voted for last week |
Quote:
if she was going to go with james, she should've stuck with him all the way... then there would've been a chance he could stick around and be her ally, but to turn on him AFTER she blew her promise to bobby john... now he knows not to trust her, so she's left with no one. she better pray that there's a merge before the next tribal council or she's a gonner. |
They should let Ulong lose itself down to nothing. No merger. That would be a new twist!
|
i like steph, but there's no way that any of the folks from ulong that make it as far as the merger will last... koror will vote those last couple of ulong folks out in no time, i suspect.

I am now hopelessly addicted to this show. The strange double-elimination episode last week did it for me.
|
Damn, Steph is hot!
Too bad she went against BJ. He seems to be a good candidate to go to the final three. She would be too, if he can get over her dumbass lie and they team-up. |
Demographic Update for March 24, 2005
MALE - 6 FEMALE - 5 UNDER 30 - 6 OVER 30 - 5 ALABAMA - 2 CALIFORNIA - 2 OHIO - 1 TEXAS - 1 PENNSYLVANIA - 1 FLORIDA - 1 ILLINOIS - 1 NEVADA - 1 NEW YORK - 1 |
Steph truly is one of the best female competitors ever. Angie was pretty good too mind you, but remember that episode where they had to wear the weight filled backpacks and trudge around in the water? It was Angie that bowed out and Steph stayed till the end.
She is also hot as hell! Otherwise a decent episode, my wife was so happy that they won reward and she was going for them to win immunity too. That lake was amazing, i'd love to go there. I'd read about it, and seen pictures of the jellyfish before in a couple of diving magazines. |

First off the Steph voting thing. I've been thinking about it for a while, and I just can't come up with how it made any sense. She could have shown both Ib and BobbyJ great allegience by voting out James in the first vote. I mean cmon, she knows they are both voting for him, just go with them and it's all good. Especially seeing as how she was just going to vote for him to leave if it was a tie. This way, now BJ won't trust her, and Ib will find out the first time she voted for him... I just don't get it.
But I think they may merge right away next week, and if they do, don't be so sure that the other tribe will just get rid of them right away. Usually the tribes are very close in numbers, but this time, anybody from koror that would like an alliance could go with one or more of the ulong group. they will be hoping for anything. I just don't know, this is such an interesting survivor. A team hasn't lost this much before. We'll see some "twists" soon I'm sure. |

I think Coby's semi-alliance would welcome Ulong more than Tom's alliance, since it would give them the numbers to take them out.
Also, I don't know if its just me, but Pringles and Mai Tais don't seem like much of a reward. Sure they haven't had much to eat, but couldn't they just give them some substantive food item on top of the Pringles? |
First, they usually merge at 10, so I don't think it's happening this week.
Second, it ALWAYS looks like a simple thing for the tribe who has numbers to simply pick off the other tribe post-merger, but they never do. Look at last season. The guy who won was the only guy among a tribe full of women who said repeatedly that they wanted an all woman final four. Well guess who won? How hard would it have been to just get rid of him? I bet Stephanie makes it far post-merge. Plus, as stated earlier, Koror hasn't had a chance to eliminate the "chaff" from it's own tribe. They got rid of Willard, but don't you think they want Katie and Karen gone right away? |
well... next week should be the merge. i can't believe ulong lost every single immunity... that's just crazy.
i think that koror will use the merge to finally get rid of some of the dead weight (i.e. a few of the girls) instead of vote out the rest of ulong. or... i could see them trying to vote out tom as soon as possible, he's definitely the biggest physical threat. should be interesting... i can't wait! |
That episode was a little on the boring side. The shark bit was cool, but no major drama or anything. Both challenges were a little on the quiet side, no major excitement or action. Man, I thought I was going to fall asleep during the immunity challenge.
The only thing that made it worthwhile was a wet steph. |
Yeah she was cute wet:) Not many girls can pull that off:)

Demographic Update for April 1, 2005
MALE - 5 FEMALE - 5 UNDER 30 - 5 OVER 30 - 5 ALABAMA - 1 CALIFORNIA - 2 OHIO - 1 TEXAS - 1 PENNSYLVANIA - 1 FLORIDA - 1 ILLINOIS - 1 NEVADA - 1 NEW YORK - 1 |
they HAVE to merge now. Ulong can't vote anymore (Steph votes for BJ and vice versa...always a tie).
I do think Koror will make the mistake of getting rid of some of their own before going after Steph and BJ. Then Steph will start winning individual immunity and last till the final 4 |

The new demographics for April 7.
Demographic Update for April 1, 2005 MALE - 4 FEMALE - 5 UNDER 30 - 4 OVER 30 - 5 CALIFORNIA - 2 OHIO - 1 TEXAS - 1 PENNSYLVANIA - 1 FLORIDA - 1 ILLINOIS - 1 NEVADA - 1 NEW YORK - 1 |
apparently the twist of this season is that there is no twist... no switching up tribes, no early merge... just let koror kill off all of ulong.
they have to merge next week... right? lol |
Wait a second... There is only 9 people left, that means everyone still on the show is on the jury. Usually they make a bigger deal of that. It's kind of cool though pretty much everyone on the jury will have been together for all of the days (except steph).
I liked Bobby John, but I'm glad Steph won. But what's with that challenge. You have to start a fire and here are some matches. Oh and I'm tired of Jen as well. She is worthless. Does nothing at camp. Doesn't do the challenge and then tries to push that she needs a shower. How bout you let the guy that just ate 9 duck baby things. Show will get interesting now. Now we get to see Koror start to think about voting others out. |
Although Steph is at a disadvantage being the only Ulong left, she has at least been busting her ass at all those challenges while most of Koror has been sitting around getting fat. When it comes time for individual immunity, Stephanie will be one monster of a competitor, and those deadweight Korors are going to start falling off like dead leaves.
|
Steph ROCKS... I hope she takes the whole friggin thing... :)
|
She's so hawt too!

I think given that in some way BJ and Steph were a "final 2" they should have come up with a twist where the outvoted Ulong would have been their jury and voted for the Ulong Survivor. That make a fire challenge was lame and unexciting, and most definitely not worthy of determining the fate of players the caliber of BJ and Steph.
|
I agree about the fire challenge being pretty lame, but I guess they were restricted because it was night time. I've been a fan of Ulong since the beginning, so I'm hoping Stephanie goes far.
