Hey gooch, welcome to the forum!
Yea, Family Guy was... is a great show. I also have all the seasons, and I pretty much watch them all at least once a month. With that said, try and use the Search funtion when you start a topic. There have been lots of threads started about this. The closest thread I could find which closely matches your topic is this one: http://www.tfproject.org/tfp/showthr...ght=Family+Guy Enjoy!

Whoa whoa whoa whoa, let's not get carried away...
Better than the Simpsons? Still, brilliant show. Stewie: 'As for you kind sage, I can only say that I hope my heartfelt thanks will keep you warm as you... SPEND THE NEXT TEN YEARS IN FROZEN CARBONITE!' |

Ok, I agree with you to some respect Kostya, but common. The Simpson's fell off the Cliff of Suck in the later seasons, yes?

I've seen the other threads in the past, but I'll post in this because it is right here right now... I finally rented this on DVD, and the part where Peter turns from Britney Spears into Gene Shalit made me laugh my ASS off... I haven't laughed like that in a looong time. I think I will now read through the more established thread...

This is one of the few shows that makes me laugh hysterically. Great shit.

I hate it with all my being.
I curse it, my eyes and my ears everytime I stumble across it channel surfing. I'm slack-jawed in utter amazement that it was ever considered funny by anyone... my pot-plants have better senses of humour. I celebrate the day it was cancelled by opening a bottle of champagne and running around naked. I secretly stick pins in the dolls of its writers and producers. I laugh... well, never in any connection with this show whatsoever. The Simpsons, on the other hand, is pure comedy gold. Mr Mephisto |

Also, why rank Family Guy, South Park and The Simpsons? Don't they all deserve to be in an untouchable upper-eschelon of amazingly funny cartoons? I think Top Five rankings are better for stuff like this.

Relax, they're talking about the Family Guy not Everybody loves Raymond.... Honestly, what is there to not like about the Family Guy. Peter Griffin is like a cross between Homer Simpson and Al Bundy. Quagmire.... all I can say is googoody googoody goo! It's freaking hilarious! How can you not add the Aqua Teen Hunger Force to your list. One of the best shows of the new millenium.

Anybody remember Undergrads or Clone High? Those two short lived MTV cartoons were awesome. But obviously, they had to go because people were clammering for reruns of Revenge of The Real World vs. Road Rules X-treme III.

Clone High was great. And their was another one, something East I think, I don't remember. I wish they'd bring those back.
