Until we meet again. . .
Vol. 1 was watchable just for the beautiful blade and Uma Thurman alone, everything else in it was atrocious enough to nearly put me to sleep several times though. Never have seen Vol. 2, but it has to be better than the first half (or at least I truly hope so)

Zoolander is a film that I thought was hilarious.
Both of the Star Wars prequels easily fit the thread topic, and it would not surprise me if the third sequel will fit as well. Not planning on watching it in the movie theatre after suffering through the first two though. If Lucas can make a decent film after the pure shit of the first two it would impress me though.

Speaking of Soul Plane... I JUST read somewhere that the movie industry is blaming bad box office performance on leaked screeners!

Ah man... god forbid Hollywood creates a horrible movie! Now anytime a movie BOMBS, we're gonna hear the "piracy" excuse

the worst film i remember, the most ridiculous, the most bloated, the most overrated: titanic

pure crap, made all the worse because people whose films i really like were involved: gangs of new york, cruel intentions.

least funny film that tried to be funny: dude where's my car? followed closely by the collected works of adam sandler, through punchdrunk love, which i merely thought diverting.

film i was surprised i liked so much: lost in translation.
off topic i know.

I'm sorry Tropple, It had to be done. Someone bought me this odious, completely offensive piece of hollywood offal on DVD. It collected dust until I found someone vacuous of mind enough to take it off my hands.

I had a strange feeling that I'd pop someone's cork with this post.

Ridiculous movies, eh?

Cheerleader Ninjas - Yes, it actually is a movie. My G/F and I went to rent a movie, and she asked what I wanted... "Ass or Kung Fu" was my response, and then I stumble upon this gem. It was made on probably $1.97 budget, and although I expected it to be bad.... it was much, much, much worse.

The Doom Generation - Starring... damn, I can't remember her name. "Tatem" from Scream... Marilyn Mansons g/f for a while... Rose something? Anyway, horrible movie. I don't really clearly remember it, but from what I can recall three kids kill some people, drive around and romp, then get attacked by Nazis....

Zoolander - Wow. Worst.Movie.Ever.

i dont necessarily consider rediculous as a bad thing, for example:
Rocky Horror Picture Show- its fuckin rediculous with tim curry being a transvestite and people throwing toast in the audience and all sorts of things. Although to watch it is a blast
Going overboard- Rediculously bad. i was little 14 or so i think and loved adam sandler movies but i couldnt watch this more then 10minutes. In fact i believe its still at the same spot i left it 4 years ago.
and then theres Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas- its rediculous to think that Thompson actually experienced something so crazy and off the wall that he wrote a book pretty close to what actually happened.

heh Rocky movies.
they should just call them all "Punchin Bag!"
Punchin Bag 1
Punchin Bag 2
Punchin Bag Gets beat up and then comes back.
Punchin Bag goes to Russia!
Puchin Bag gets beat in the street.

worst 3 imo are:

1. Battlefeild earth.
At the start of the movie abunch of idiots who are afraid of their own shadow and can't speak more than about 11 words learn to fly harriers in formation and smelt gold in 3days?
The entire earth puts up a 9 min fight against an alien invasion and these idiots stop them?

2. Batman and Robin.
Don't insult the franchise like this again WB. they started it off with the Dark knight and an awesome villian, Joker.
it was dark but no so dark they couldn't market it to a younger audience. ( god forbid you make a movie you can't buy the cup for at BK.)
And this is what you end up with? They get knocked down and they click there heals together and boom they are on skates?

3. house of 1000 corpses. Started off like something. then went some place that I didn't understand and then they went to a supernatural place. Are they supernatural or just demented? this movie was just a mish mash of ideas. On their own they would've worked but together it made no sense. I sent a copy of my ticked to Rob Zombie I want my 12.95 back.

Haha, MK2. Man, that movie is so laughable it's funny. *cough* Takes my vote for best unintentional western martial arts comedy featuring video game characters.

The first movie wasn't bad, though =P

I can see how most people didn't like Freddy Got Fingered, but it fit right in with me. I have an incredibly twisted sense of humor.

House of 1000 Corpses... good fun! It's horror. The movie isn't deep at all. The goal is to be crazy, terrifying, and gory!

My 3:

1. The Exorcist - Bleh. Not scary in the least bit. The whole "god vs. devil" thing doesn't belong in horror. I consider it more of a religious drama or something. Very boring movie.

2. Titanic - I don't even need to give a reason, should be pretty obvious.

3. Anything with singing/prancing about. Dirty Dancing (thought I'd mention it since there's a thread about it), Wizard of Oz, Sound of Music, Willy Wonka.. goddamn I hate musicals like you wouldn't believe.

I don't know why, but I LOATHE anything with singing/dancing. I literally cringe whenever I hear musicals.

Willy Wonka would be a good movie if all the musical numbers were completely cut out. Well, the lame numbers, anyway. The tunnel song was good ("there's no earthly way of knowing.."), but that other shit.. "Cheer up, cheer up charlie" or "I got a golden ticket" .. screw that noise.

I hope the Tim Burton remake w/ Johnny Depp omits the musical numbers.
I thought that Willy Wonka and A Nightmare before Christmas were great movies.

Surf Nazis Must Die. Utter crap, so boring. It's about a fat old black lady that avenges her son's murder by shooting a bunch of neo-nazi surfers. It was mind numbingly painful to watch, nothing happens for the first 4/5ths of the movie, and the payoff wasn't worth it. Even though I saw it for free, I still want my money back.
