Most ridiculous movie ever...

list here your 3 most ridiculous movies of all time. and by ridiculous, i mean really really bad.

1) double team. van damm and dennis rodman team together and van damm beats the crap out of a tiger. nuff said

2) 3000 miles to graceland. ice t swinging upside down killing 100 swat team agents in an epic final showdown

3) house of 1000 corpses. directed by rob zombie. _what the fuck?_

Lebell 06-17-2004 06:10 PM

1) Starcrash
2) Clash of the Titans
3) Any thing with Van Damm

phredgreen 06-17-2004 06:34 PM

house of 1000 corpses was great. silly gorefest made by the king of gorefests. if you take it for anything other than that, you're thinking too much about it.

my most rediculous movie ever is "In The Bedroom" - self-importent borefest about a family's loss and coming to terms. i watched it at the insitsence of a co-worker and ended up wanting to beat him with a baseball bat by the end of it. i kept waiting for it to get good, but it just never happened.

I thought Clash of the Titans was great. To each their own.

Redjake 06-17-2004 07:53 PM

3000 Miles to Graceland was an excellent movie!

Derwood 06-17-2004 08:42 PM

Over the Top

I love horror movies, but I hate

1. Cabin Fever
2. Jason X
3. House of the dead

Disgrace to horror movies

dirtyrascal7 06-17-2004 10:28 PM

1. the cube
2. most steven segal movies
3. thirteen ghosts (or is it 'the thirteenth ghost'?)

Church 06-17-2004 10:32 PM

Ghost Ship. God awful horror which ended up being a comedy.

t3m3st 06-17-2004 10:46 PM

I thought Cube was awesome, Hypercube on the other hand...

1) Glengarry Glen Ross - I saw a preview for this before some movie I'd rented, and with the number of cool actors in it I thought it would rock, but it was the worst piece of crap I'd ever seen.

2) May - If it weren't for Anna Faris this would be #1 on my list, other than her there is nothing redeemable about this movie.

3)Monkeybone - Friend brought it over one night, I knew it was gonna be bad, I didn't know HOW bad though.

KellyC 06-17-2004 11:45 PM

1) 8 Miles
2) The 'Fridays' movies by Ice Cube, makes me wanna vomit...
3) The Scooby Doo movies
4) About all the Romance movies out there, blehh

Edit:
5) CrossRoad, Brittney Spears deserve to be stone to death because of this god awful peice of shit that passed as a movie...

DownwardSpiral 06-18-2004 12:35 AM

1) "Route 666" - This movie was god awful and whoever made this crap needs to be burned at the stake.

2) "Mulholland Drive" - Not because it made no sense, I just hated the movie, I thought it was horrible.

3) "Series 7: The Contenders" - Yet again another god awful movie in my opinion. I watched this with my dad and we were both like 'what the. . . that was retarded.'

And my 'Honorable Mention' - "Kill Bill Vol. 1" - I really don't like Vol. 1. Then again, Vol. 2 wasn't the best in the world either, but it was better than Vol. 1 in my opinion.

Until we meet again. . .

mystmarimatt 06-18-2004 01:58 AM

1. Deathstalker 1-4. "The number-1 selling fantasy series of all time"

2. Redneck Zombies

3. Starship Troopers 2

warrrreagl 06-18-2004 02:46 AM

Marci X - both Lisa Kudrow and Damon Wayans must have lost a bet to have been in this bomb.

Star Wars: The Phantom Menace - just because you CAN do something doesn't mean you SHOULD do something.

From Justin to Kelly - I haven't stopped laughing yet, but I don't think that was their intent.

P.S. - Stopping at three films is very hard. I've got quite a long one (list, that is).
Gigli
Glitter
Kazaam
Leonard Part 6
Battlefield Earth
Baby Geniuses
It's Pat
Rollerball (remake)
Planet of the Apes (remake)
Spice World
Cat in the Hat
Garfield
Dumb and Dumberer
Freddy Got Fingered

And on and on ...

iamtheone 06-18-2004 04:34 AM

The Corndog Man. (stupid but funny as hell)

absorbentishe 06-18-2004 05:19 AM

There's a lot of movies that I haven't seen because I was told how bad they were...

On that note, the bottom 3 I've seen

Hudson Hawk
Ghost Ship (WTF?)
Gigli (I just wanted to see how bad it really was, and it is...)

bltzkriegmcanon 06-18-2004 06:09 AM

Weekend at Bernie's.

All of them.

zensheep 06-19-2004 03:48 PM

1)Commando
2)Commando
3)Commando

This was one of Arnold's first movies I believe. It is completely the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen. The opening scene while the opening credits are rolling was enough to have me pause the movie, I was laughing so much.

theFatMan 06-19-2004 03:58 PM

R*O*T*O*R*

Most ridiculous movie ever made. Imagine the Terminator with Arnold replaced by a pudgy guy with a 70's pornstar mustache. And that's the good part...

Ella 06-19-2004 04:01 PM

I'd say Mad Max - Beyond Thunderdome (I believe it was called the Road Warrior or something in the US) was ridiculous beyond belief.

But I really dug The Cube, and Mullholland Drive is a piece of goddam brilliance.

The5thCandidate 06-19-2004 09:19 PM

Feeders 2
Leprechaun in the Hood
Space Camp

I too thought this movie sucked. Maybe I fell asleep or something (certainly not out of the realm of possibility) but I don't remember a gorefest. I rented it specifically hoping for a gorefest.

Nimbletoe 06-19-2004 10:13 PM

1. Cabin Fever. The person who came up with that movie, ESPECIALLY the ending should be shot. Wow.

2. Drop dead gorgeous. I think thats what it was called... had Denise Richards in it. Holy crap, that was the worst movie.

3. Down with love. I'm a guy, and I hate chick flicks, and this is the epitome of chick flicks. I was drug to see it by my ex, and oh my god. The worst movie moment i've ever, ever sat through was Renee Zelwegger's 230947928374 minute monologue near the end, which recaped the ENTIRE movie. ARGHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

This list is just the movies i've seen. Honestly, if a movie is going to be crap, I don't waste my time. The first one I saw opening night, so hadn't heard anything about it, and it was way different from how it was advertised. The second one I saw on TV, the third I didn't have a choice. It was that or no nookie. I'm starting to think I made the wrong damn choice.

Jackebear 06-19-2004 10:18 PM

I also liked 3000 miles to Graceland...huh.

They made a second Starship Troopers???? Was it a direct to video movie?

Yeah it was direct to DVD.

BUT I personally enjoyed it, wasnt near as quality as number 1, but it was fun to watch.

House of the dead is my top of the list for crap.

dy156 06-22-2004 08:02 AM

In no particular order:
Random Hearts- Harrison Ford in a truly terrible romantic movie
Crossroads- yes, I went to see it, against my will. When Britney says something like, "I'm really confused right now, but I wrote a poem about it. 'I'm not a girl, not yet a woman. What I need is time, a moment that is mine, while I'm in between.'" I laughed out loud.
The Core-just so stupid I couldn't stand it. There hadn't been a good Armegeddon/Independence Day/the earth is about to be destroyed movie in awhile, and this was by far the worst ever. Bad special effects, stupid concept, and wow-the acting.

ShaniFaye 06-22-2004 08:08 AM

Ya'll have listed most of the ones I would have...but I didnt see this one

Body Slam

animosity 06-22-2004 08:13 AM

liked mulholland drive

didn't like cube

commando was so bad it was entertaining. arnold kills a guy on an airplane, tells stewardess "whatever you do, don't disturb my friend. he's dead tired." now that is funny.

disappointed with the movie "tape." camera man desperate for inventive angles = very distracting, the plot drags, the action never left a motel room (at least up to the point where i turned it off). ethan hawk and richard linklater (sp) team up for a POS.

how about karate kid 3. miagi almost a self-parody with all the unintelligible grunting.

this leads to the american ninja franchise, another demonstration of the 80s ninja fascination. the ancient code of the ninja was "attack the enemy one at a time" and "dress up like a ninja to ruin the element of surprise."

the haunting...i saw something on tv about this movie...someone was discussing the ethics of knowingly releasing such a bad film

bgivnin 06-28-2004 10:15 PM

*Gone Fishin'. My girlfriend (at the time) and I actually LEFT the theater halfway through... we couldn't stand it anymore. Still, to this day, I preach hell about that movie - and I've never left the theater since, and I've seen some shitty movies.

*Dumb and Dumberer. There are some sequels that should never ever ever EVER get made, and that was one of them. What a waste of 1:20 that I'll never get back.

*Zoolander. Absolute crap.

With that in mind, there are so many others that just hit me all at once, but I can't seem to snag onto one, so I'll just keep it at those three... for now. :)

My older sister used up one of her free rentals from Netflips so that her fiancee, me, one of my friends, and her could sit there and make fun of it the whole way through it! It was our own version of Mystery Science Theature 3000 with The Core as the horrible movie we made fun of. It's a waste of money and time to rent and watch that movie unless your purpose is to use your knowledge of science and engineering to make fun of it the whole way through. I don't know which was worse, the plot or the acting.

Lasereth 06-29-2004 05:37 AM

1. Dude, Where's My Car? Possibly the worst movie ever made.
2. Zoolander - What the hell is this?
3. Dungeons and Dragons - AHHHHHHHHH

-Lasereth

Stompy 06-29-2004 06:44 AM

I love Zoolander. One of my fav. comedies. I loved House of 1000 Corpses and Freddy Got Fingered (previously mentioned).

I can see how most people didn't like Freddy Got Fingered, but it fit right in with me. I have an incredibly twisted sense of humor.

House of 1000 Corpses... good fun! It's horror. The movie isn't deep at all. The goal is to be crazy, terrifying, and gory!

My 3:

1. The Exorcist - Bleh. Not scary in the least bit. The whole "god vs. devil" thing doesn't belong in horror. I consider it more of a religious drama or something. Very boring movie.

2. Titanic - I don't even need to give a reason, should be pretty obvious.

3. Anything with singing/prancing about. Dirty Dancing (thought I'd mention it since there's a thread about it), Wizard of Oz, Sound of Music, Willy Wonka.. goddamn I hate musicals like you wouldn't believe.

I don't know why, but I LOATHE anything with singing/dancing. I literally cringe whenever I hear musicals.

Willy Wonka would be a good movie if all the musical numbers were completely cut out. Well, the lame numbers, anyway. The tunnel song was good ("there's no earthly way of knowing.."), but that other shit.. "Cheer up, cheer up charlie" or "I got a golden ticket" .. screw that noise.

I hope the Tim Burton remake w/ Johnny Depp omits the musical numbers.
