i love Scrubs.
we've just had the first series over here.
i don't think i'd go as far as to say the best show ever.
but its classic stuff.
i've a special place in my heart for Sarah Chalke as well.

I really like this show. The humor is different (and better) than most network primetime comedies. The actors are all great, particularly the janitor, who is one of the best roles I've ever seen. They use him just enough that he never gets tiresome, and leaves you waiting for the next time he tortures Dorian. I also like that John C. McGinley's talents are being used here, up till now he has had good but not major character actor roles in movies like Office Space, Any Given Sunday, Seven, and the first thing I remember him for, the woman-hating prankster in the surprisingly good chick movie Watch It.

The only thing I have a small problem with is that often there is a no-dialogue, music only segment near the end of the show, where each character is shown reacting to whatever that weeks story is. Usually it works well, but every now and then it is annoying to sit through. It's a comedy, not a showcase for the latest ballad by an artist trying to get on the radio. Leave that for MTV.

It is a good show...I have only watched it a few times, but I liked it.

It's a great little show...destined to be a classic, IMHO.

Ya i really like Scrubs, its probably my favorite show that hasnt been on forever. The Tod is great and so is the janitor. It actually made me want to go through med school but i decided not to let a show decide my future. haha. My favorite episode i think is called My Hero. the part where J.D. thinks the janitor is his dad is great. and then the acapella(sp?) version of Underdog those guys sing is classic.

I love the dead dog... heh, my wife thinks im crazy but I think this is a great show... I loved the Jets Episode and the one where that guy from ED played J.D.'s brother... man they look like they could be brothers IRL

heh, it wouldnt really be deciding your future! you do that. you get ideas from everywhere, but it's your decision. i might go to med school myself. always considered it, scrubs is kinda affirming it ;D

I agree. John C. McGinley is perfect for his role and easily my favorite character. I really like this show.

That is a great show. I haven't been able to watch it as much recently, but I love the sense of humor, and it just has some great characters.

I didn't watch the first season at all because I thought "yeah, a medical comedy, THAT'll work"...but then I caught an episode of the 2nd season (with Ted and his "band") and immediately downloaded every episode I'd missed. I've been a faithful viewer ever since.

What happened to it? Was the 'My Dream Job' the final ep of the 2nd season?

I love scrubs, it's funny, and it's often deep and has a message. And those scenes where JD imagines whatever is going on his head is hilarious, it's been done on alley mcbeal, but it's still awesome.

Scrubs is awesome. My Dream Job was the season finale. The season premiere was today, My American Girl. Thursdays, after Friends, as usual.

The guy that plays the janitor was in snippets of the movie "Major League".
The last time you see him in the film, was when the Indians win the pennant and it shows him in the bar, jumping up and down hugging what looks like a punk-rocker. He realizes who he's hugging, pauses, then continues hugging him and jumping and cheering.
I saw it last night on Starz and recognized him.
His real name is Neil Flynn.

They made the blonde girl hotter, at least for the last five minutes of the show. Made me want to see her naked, more so then before :)

I LOVE this show. My favorite is Dr. Cox , to me he's the funniest on the entire show:D I also enjoy watching the pranks with JD and the janitor. Great stuff:D

Greatest show ever!! Although I personally liked Season One more than Two, but not by much. Can't believe I missed the premiere for Season Three.

For Mikey and other check John C. McGinley in Platoon, he has a supporting role but it's a great one. I've loved scrubs since day one. Neil Flynn, the janitor, acutally tried out for the roll of Dr. Cox and barely lost it but was so good in the callbacks that the writers invented the part for him. I really love the episode where he reads JD's diary, oh man, laughing just thinking about it.

What a great show, i forogt about it though, the series finished about 5 months ago.
John C. McGinley is tha man, what a great actor. He's a really nice guy in real life as well.

I wonder when a new series is coming back to Australia?

Scrubs is the only show I faithfully watch every week.

I'm bumpin' this back up because there was a new episode on last night, and as usual, I laughed so hard I couldn't breathe. JD had numerous dream sequences where he got punched in the nuts by a midget. Brilliant.

Ya I caught that last night as well. Funny stuff with the little guy punching him in the nuts. This show is great, I think it's the best comedy on regular cable these days.

This show is great, and bringing in Tara Reid was just amazing (she is incredibly hot).

Dr. Cox is the best with his sarcastic humor and his jabs at J.D.

It's about damn time they finally showed another episode...I was getting sick of double episodes of Friends and Will & Grace.

Scrubs is excellent, but I hear they're moving it to Tuesdays after Frasier.

I hope it's true about moving it to Tuesdays. Scrubs went up against my Survivor time, and that was just rough. PIPing it all the way.

Im glad it kept going, i heard during its first season that they were gonna cancel, but its still goin strong... booya

Don't forget- Next Tue. 2/10 (not Thurs.) it will be on and Michael J. Fox is making a special appearance- looks good and a bit dramatic, I might say!

So last night was the episode with Michael J. Fox. I have to be honest...I found it depressing and didn't think it was a very good episode.

Let me say, though, that Michael J. Fox is one of my favorite actors of all time. He's why I wanted to become an actor. His demeanor and comedic timing were top-notch on "Family Ties." I was heartbroken when I heard that he had Parkinson's. He's always been one of my heroes, and of course, he's now even more of a hero because of his work in finding a cure for the disease.

I saw him on Charlie Rose a year or so ago, and he wasn't doing very well - the tremors were really taking over his body. He obviously is doing better, as his performance on Scrubs was much more contained..but:

a) I didn't think the character was very funny; I fear he's lost a lot of his comic timing.
b) He talked very, very fast, and I frequently had to rewind to understand what he was saying.
c) He looks really old; it's easy to tell that this ordeal has taken its toll.

There were some funny moments in the show, but I wound up just sitting there feeling really sad. It's nice to see him on television again, but it's depressing when you have to watch the ones that you loved become shadows of their former selves.

I still give the show big props for being the funniest show on television. This show was just a little bittersweet for me, I guess.

scrubs is great. hope they put it out on dvd at some point.
