And I don't know the bonus question.

In season 3, Chandler picks up smoking again (again, again). Rachel buys him one of those tapes that helps you stop smoking through hypnosis. They thought it was to stop Chandler from smoking, but what did it really do to Chandler?

OK so I know it doesn't really count for anything but I'm wondering about the bonus anyway...the answer was I think...they were going to name the baby Jamie but that was the name of Susans first girlfriend?
And i think the answer to the new question is that the tape basically turned Chandler into a strong independent woman or something like that? |

yep, it's time for a new question. Someone toss one up.
KatieSays, I know you joined after the thread started, and there are a few new players here, so, just to keep everyone informed, if a new question hasn't been posted 24hrs. after confirmation of a correct answer, it's anyone's turn to post one. Just basically trying to tell you that we're not cutting you off - this just keeps the game moving. Last edited by teph; 04-24-2004 at 10:58 PM.. |

Does that count or does it have to be when she acted as a mother to all of them?

Thanks for informing me of the rules. As it says below my member name I am a Rookie.
I'm a college student and this weekend was very hectic preparing for finals and all so I didn't get a chance to come on and ask a new question. I'm sorry if i left anyone hanging and I'm glad you moved on without waiting for me. In the future I won't post if I know I won't be able to post a new question in the next 24 hours. Again I am sorry. Also if someone can help me out...how do you post those blue box quote things? |

But don't ride in the street!"). As it turns out, that question was a lot more open-ended than I thought . At any rate, your turn, onetime2. |

KatieSays, don't be sorry, and don't worry about posting when you're not going to be here, chances are, someone else will know the answer or be able to look it up if we're waiting for confirmation.
You could also do what kulrblind has done a few times, and that's to post the answer up with a spoiler tag to it. The form for that is (spoiler) the answer (/spoiler) (with the parentheses taken out and replaced with square brackets), and it's quite handy. Hope your finals are going well. I feel your pain, being in them right now, myself. Good luck. |

Well, when his "getting high" confession came out, that's when the Geller parents found out that Monica was living with Chandler.
I don't remember any actual "while he was high" hijinx... If a question needs to be asked... How many actual parents (of the six main characters) have we seen on-screen? |

I don't think a question does need to be asked, but I think the answer is all of them. 10. Jack and Judy Gellar we've seen many times, we've seen Chandler's mom a few times and his dad (as played by Kathleen Turner) at least once. Pheobe's dad we've seen at the funeral, and I know Teri Garr wasn't at first her biological mother, but then she was(I think?), so that's both of hers. We saw Rachel's mother and father at Rachel's birthday party (though they never saw each other) and we saw Joey's dad when he was having an affair, and Joey's mom later in the episode. So it's either 9 or 10, depending on the Teri Garr question. But I'm still waiting on confirmation on my stoner Ross answer.
