Anyone seen this yet? I saw the trailer, looks great. But the only place that has it around here is a 30 minute drive out of town, to a more expensive theatre. I just wanna know if its going to be worth it.

I dunno...it was ok but not enough ghostly stuff. I hate this new trend in a lot of horror movies to turn from horror into a mystery to solve. It could've been a bit scarier for me. Maybe I'm just hardened from all the sick shit I've seen online.

I agree that it wasn't what it could have been. It was incredibly predictable and inconsistent.
Spoiler: If the ghost can take control of Miranda's car and throw her around a cell, why not just avenge herself without involving Miranda? The ending was pretty awful as well. Looks like they're fishing for a sequel even though it was a flop.

I didn't understand the ending.
Spoiler: I thought the first ghost was using her for revenge and that was all, but she see a second ghost at the end? Is he to connected to her in some way? Also why wasn't she sent to jail for murder? She killed her husband. Saying a ghost made me do wouldn't get her off. Last edited by Psivage; 03-26-2004 at 09:40 PM.. |

a Danish review says that it's nothing but a reuse of other horror movies and that doesn't sound too promising but I think that I'm gonna see it anyway

That movie was god awful. Nothing even remotely scary in it, and I felt I had to lose a few IQ points just to keep from laughing at the plot. Are they ever going to make another horror movie that you can't figure out in the first 5 minutes? Hell, Holly Berry didn't even try and save that shit pile with some full frontal, what a rip off.

Horrible, unoriginal movie.
Spoiler: The ghost possesses Miranda to avenge its death. Later, it also takes control of a car, unlocks doors to a cell, and then tosses Miranda around a cell like a rag doll. A display with enough force to wonder, "Why not just avenge yourself directly? You've got power." Some second guessing about what "Not Alone" really meant leads to the sheriff. The moment Miranda states that there is an accomplice, I said to my wife, "the sheriff". It was that predictable. And like a post said before... blaming a ghost for killing a man, won't get you out of jail. If you're a twelve year-old that has never seen Sixth Sense, Stir of Echoes, or The Ring, this film will be entertaining. Anyone else is going to be bored shitless. |

I thought it was pretty stupid. It held my attention long enough for me to finish it, but it just seemed to get worse and worse

Watch it if you have insomnia or are very bored and the cable is out and you can't leave the house, and its the only dvd you have. Or don't. It was rather chessy.
