Horrible, unoriginal movie.
Spoiler: The ghost possesses Miranda to avenge its death. Later, it also takes control of a car, unlocks doors to a cell, and then tosses Miranda around a cell like a rag doll. A display with enough force to wonder, "Why not just avenge yourself directly? You've got power." Some second guessing about what "Not Alone" really meant leads to the sheriff. The moment Miranda states that there is an accomplice, I said to my wife, "the sheriff". It was that predictable. And like a post said before... blaming a ghost for killing a man, won't get you out of jail.
If you're a twelve year-old that has never seen Sixth Sense, Stir of Echoes, or The Ring, this film will be entertaining. Anyone else is going to be bored shitless.
