As for the past returning, i have a few guesses: 1. One of the challenges involved having to play with/against the people who have already been voted off. 2. People who have been voted off get to rearrange the tribes. 3. Someone who has been voted off gets to return to the game.

Someone needs to skewer Jon on a spit and cook him.
After a necessary length of time tenderizing him, of course. (preferably with fists) Do you think they will find out he squealed to Morgan about Drake throwing the challenge? Could that be what they mean about the past coming back to haunt them?

The no underwear girl with the huge cans is back!!!!
So who loved last nights episode? I thought the twist was awesome and a whole new dynamic to the Survivor show - I'm thrilled! I've been a solid Drake supporter since day one, but I must say I was rooting for the Outcasts like mad during that challenge! I woulda much rather of seen that little puke Jon? leave. That guy pisses me off just looking at him. And I hope Osten in real life does not live this down, what a whiny little pussy, my body shutting down my hairy ass, he has no balls and no guts.

Very interesting twist. Assuming this had been a planned event (keeping the voted off survivors on a similar diet to the remaining survivors), then what would have happened if the tribes had not been even at 6 and 6? But all it really achieved was a way to extend the number of episodes. It's not likely that either of the two Outcasts can make it to the end.

Screw Osten!!! I'm glad Jeff finally asked him "what the hell are you doing out here?" Osten pissed away his opportunity at a million bucks, which sends a big 'up yours' to thousands of people who would have loved to be in his place. He's the weakest person to EVER be on the show, and that includes all the anorexic girls who've been on.
I don't understand why Drake didn't send Jon packing, though. Unless it's because if Burton comes back, he and Shawn will be big buddies forever.

May I just say that this season, Probst rocks?
Seriously, he's doling out more shit to castaways and taking absolutely zero. last night was a perfect example. Osten doesn't get the usual, "the tribe has spoken," he gets a snide, "go home." Classic. The only reason I can see Drake keeping Shawn over Jon is because of the possibility Burton comes back. How tense would it be if Trish came back? Personally, I think they'll but the outcasts on different tribes from the ones they started on. It'll give them a fighting chance. And what the hell is up with Savage on Morgan? He's awfully concerned about the outcasts coming back and he seems to be turning into a bit of a paranoid freak because of it.

Ol' Rupert came within a hairs' breadth of cleaning Jons' clock at the beginning of the episode last night.
I'm glad he didn't, but a part of me wished he would have. That punk Osten better have some understanding friends back home, or he's going to be one miserable sob. Are they going to keep adding Outcast members to Drake and Morgan if one of the original teams lose, or was that a one time thing, do you think? Btw, I want to say, Christa is getting sexier and sexier with every episode.

Osten is the biggest pussy I have seen on a reality show. Not only was it pitiful to watch a man act in such a manner, but it is pretty lame that he filled up a spot that somebody else would have loved to take. I found it hilarious that the host basically told him to go without even going through the voting. Total salt in the wounds...loved it

Trouble- Savage is fine when theres no threat to him, he knows, as leader, he calls the shots as to who gets voted off, but as soon as theres any hint of a threat, such as someone joining the tribe whos not under his power, he freaks out. I think hes a pompous asshole.

I would bet that Osten is not back for the reunion show either. Possibly no David Letterman? CBS invested money in this lame pussy, and they can't be happy about that. They need to make a statement to future contestants. Also, think of the other thousands of people that he beat out to get on the show. Grrrrr!
The returning Outcasts will have to be protected by either a merge, or sending them to the opposite tribes. I heard Jeff say that they will be automatically immune for the next tribal council, too.

Rupert was kicking ass again!
How is it that all those buff skinny guys can barely beat Rupe? I just hope he doesn't make himself too big a target. Yay for Lill, though.

Rupert was doing amazing in that last challenge. I seriously thought that the smaller guys would have an advantage in that one since they had less mass to pull.
Again, I almost got excited when Nicole was almost voted back in the game. Dam Ryan! Why would you vote for Lil? She's a grandma! sniff Kurat

I was glad to see Lil get back in the game, if only because Savage had to say "Can you get back to me" on the vote and she got to tear into him a little. Savage is a dumbass who got what he deserved.
And, how stupid is Morgan anyway? Can they count? You have four people in your little voting block and there are ten people in the new tribe. Then, you stand there, picking your teeth and asking, "What's Lil gonna do?" Morons! You should have her in your back pocket, or find someone who will vote with you. I don't care if Jon is a total ass, maybe that's an excellent reason to ask him to vote with you. If he's pissed you off already, think of what he's doing to the other tribe. This is why they've been getting smoked every competition.

If they want to make it a real survival show why don't they just drop all those people off in the middle of the Amazon with nothing but a pair of fatigues and a survival knife and see who walks out alive?

I was pissed that Savage got the boot. Unlike most of you, I really liked him. I think he was one of the most genuine Survivors they've ever had. His tribe kept losing despite his best efforts, and just when it looked like he was turning the corner, bam, he gets the boot.
It's his own fault. When Lil (who I hate more than anyone) said "would you really vote out any of the 3 Morgans before me?" his response should have been "Do you really think the Drakes will keep you around once they've used you to vote off the Morgans?" I hated Lil the first time around, I hate her more now.

savage was the leader, but he never did anything. he never got food, fixed the shelter like he told probst they were going to do, or put himself out to do any work, he was just as lazy and incompetent as the rest of the tribe. the only thing he used his leadership position for was to save his own ass, and he screwed that up too, by alienating lil. i'm sure lil knows she can't win the game, but she got her revenge.

Savage was the most competent person on that tribe, and he held them together. He worked his ass off during the challenges, and I liked what he had to say. Tijuana is great, but I liked savage much better and I was sorry to see him go. He led those people.

i think Rupert has to win out at this point. After getting rid of Jonny Fairplay, there isn't anyone else who is an obvious one to boot. Rupert is too good, and will be a target right away.

Well folks, the unthinkable has happened. That traitorous letch Lil, Jon and Burton have orchestrated the eviction of Rupert - who for me is the best and most entertaining Survivor castaway that I've ever seen - from the game.
I was severely pissed last night watching all of this unfold. I hold no Ill will towards Tijuana and Darrah because it is in their advantage to lose a Drake - and they are both hot! Can't blame a hot chick for anything! I swore I would stop watching Survivor when he goes, but in next weeks promo apparently something happens to Jon, so I will watch in anticipation of some sort of freak machete coconut opening accident where he lops off his own arm or something. Dammit. We'll miss you Rupert! Daval
