Just finished: Dean Koontz, "Identity" - very different, how the lives of perfect strangers become entertwined

Finishing: Stephen King, "From a Buick 8" - Quite different for a King book

I'm reading TH White's The Once and Future King. It just happens to be about arthur and his legends. I didn't read it because of the movie. So far I really like it though.

Feynman's autobiographies are superb. I lost my copy of Joking, but I still have What Do You Care What Other People Think? The man was a genius and hilarious as well.

I'm reading -- The Five People You Meet In Heaven. . . and its really interesting. Not all religious, really. It's more about the meaning of a man's life.. and how people close to him or strangers in his life tell him what his life means.. or give him answers/understanding to things he didn't see or know before...

I like it. I want to read The Davinci Code next.

"Insomnia" by Stephen King. I hear there are a lot of ties to "The Dark Tower" books, so I thought it would be a good title to tie me over until the final "Tower" book comes out this winter.

Currently I'm reading Empire Falls by umm.. Russo? I'm not sure on the authors name. I've been neglecting it though, need to get back to reading and less time watching mindless summer TV.

People love Tom Robbins because they can get all into analyzing him or whatever. I love Tom Robbins because he's funny, intelligent, and I feel good while I'm reading him. That's good enough for me.

That's a great book. I kept reading it and wondering if anything ever happens, then BAM! It happened, and I couldn't put the book down - I stayed up until 2:00 am finishing it.

Even if it felt like nothing was happening, I loved the book. I thought the character development was great, and the dialog never felt too forced. I hope HBO does a good job on the movie. John C. Reilly would have been perfect for Miles...but Ed Harris is a decent decision.

Anyway...right now I'm re-reading The Restaurant at the End of the Universe, and I, Robot. I've read the entire HHGTTG series many times, but it's been about five years, so I decided it was time again.

I first read I, Robot in 10th grade, and I gotta tell you, it doesn't hold up so well to my adult mind. I decided to re-read it because I didn't recognize a damn thing from the book in the movie previews. I'm guessing they just bastardized one of the short stories and lifted the name. I guess I'll find out when it hits DVD or HBO.
