nice read powerclown!

I just started Rise to Rebellion by Jeff Shaara

just finished Something Like an Autobiography by Akira Kuwosara - really enjoyed this book, more for his personal opinions than the stories he has to tell.

Great book! I'm a Clancy fan, but I never have time to read. I also liked "Clear and Present Danger".

Right now, I am reading "A Time to Kill" by Grisham. I'm going on a trip to China next week, so I should be able to finish it by then (16 hours in the air!!!).

John Maxim's "Bannerman's Law" (on the bus)

BTW, I finished the Donaldson's first Gap Cycle book. It was okay and filled the time. I don't think it is a raver, though. For some truly twisted plots, try on W. Michael Gear's Spider triolgy (Warriors of Spider, Web of Spider, Way of Spider) or his Forbidden Border's triolgy (Brain dead this morning, I can't think ofthe titles).

tropple, The Real Story is just the intro book. It's short and direct to get people in. The series builds quite well. If you've got the time, it's worth it.

I found it at a Borders! I'm almost to the end of my current two books so I'll probably be starting it tonight! I sure as hell hope by bus isn't delayed tonight or I'll end up sitting with nothing to read.

Currently reading "Dry" by Augusten Burroughs - it's a about a gay, recovering alcoholic ad executive.

Started off really well - the chapters on the spiral down and rehab were fun, but the latter half is losing me a little.

I just finished:

I just started reading Generation Kill by Evan Wright, I read his columns in Rolling Stone about the war in Iraq called the Killer Elite and I thought it was very interesting so i was really glad that he wrote a book out of it. Im only 3 chapters in, and its already really good.

My historical Linguistics textbook so I don't fail the course when I have to take it at the same time as it's pre-req. Also, at the same time (read: instead of) A Place to Call Home by Gabrielle Wills: a local writer from Lindsay, Ontario.... Amazing book for a first time author... very hard to find but worth it, if you're interested in historical fiction.

I am currently reading The Once and Future King by TH White.

It is the book that the disney movie "Sword and the Stone is based (albeit loosely) upon. Very differnt take on the Arthurian Legends.
