Equilibrium: The final scence as John Preston storms through huge numbers of people with incredible gunplay and grace.

Return of the King: The charge of the Rohirrim.

Return of the Jedi: The flight of the Millenium Falcon from the exploding Death Star II.

Snatch: Vinnie Jones points out to three would be robbers that a Desert Eagle beats a replica pistol everytime.

Fifth Element: Gary Oldman demonstrates his funky new weapon.

Attack of the Clones: Yoda proves once and for all that size matters not.

I LOVED that sceen!

Patriot-In the last battle where the militia is retreating from the British and Mel Gibbson grabs the American flag and starts running towards the British and they all followed him. He then proceded to whoop that guy ass too (it was pretty cool how he ducked the blow that would have killed him, and turned around shoving the bayonet into the guys throat.) I just loved that whole battle, and found it very patriotic.

We Were Soldiers-When Mel Gibbson leads the charge up the mountain and when he comes over the hill the crosshairs of that staitioned machine gun were on his face, and then the helicopters annailated the whole camp, thought it was pretty awe striking and powerful.

The Matrix-When Neo first dodges the bullets of the agent, showing his true powers, and then Tritity comes and puts a bullet in the agents head form behind...so great. Oh and also when Neo and Trinity walk through the metal detectors and Neo opens his jacket, and the whole gun fight that followed was amazing.

Spoiler warning for most of these, as should be expected in this thread.

A couple other people already said it, but hands down for me is the suicide scene in The Royal Tenenbaums with Needle In the Hay playing in the background. Perfect.

Second is also from Royal Tenenbaums, the scene with Richie and Margot in the tent, when she asks if it was her fault and if he'd ever do it again. Damn i love that movie.

Rounding out the honorable mentions:
Fight Club - the revelation scene in the hotel room
Airplane! - all of it
Die Hard With A Vengeance - the scene when we first see Simon and learn what the hell is really going on with the dump trucks rolling in and tunneling into the safe
Bubba Ho-Tep - the long shot down the hallway with Elvis walking and JFK rolling in the wheelchair in slow motion ready to go out and kill themselves a mummy
Seven - what's in the box?
The Matrix: Reloaded - the long intercut scene with morpheus and the keymaker talking and planning while cutting between and showing the actions themselves
The Matrix: Reloaded - the opening fight scene during the meeting of the captains, best fight in the movie, followed by the smiths, introduced in ture wachowski fashion by showing them stepping on the broken glass
LA Confidential - "you knew this was a trap and you came here anyway?" "a lot of bad stuff happened here, seems like as good of a place as any for it to end" and the following showdown at the victory motel
Donnie Darko - the halloween party, also earlier stabbing frank in the eye, and while i'm at it the movie theater "why are you wearing that stupid man suit?"
Super Troopers - the meow game

Ok so that got just a little longer than I expected. And just to wrap up where I started, one more Royal Tenenbaums scene: Richie's meltdown on the tennis court.

Donnie Darko- The Smurf rant, though the whole movie is beautifully twisted.
"Donnie : First of all, Papa Smurf didn't create Smurfette. Gargamel did. She was sent in as Gargamel's evil spy with the intention of destroying the Smurf village, but the overwhelming goodness of the Smurf way of life transformed her. And as for the whole gang-bang scenario, it just couldn't happen. Smurfs are asexual. They don't even have reproductive organs under those little white pants. That's what's so illogical, you know, about being a Smurf. What's the point of living if you don't have a dick?"

Do The Right Thing-
"Mookie : Pino, fuck you, fuck your fuckin' pizza, and fuck Frank Sinatra.
Pino : Yeah? Well fuck you too, and fuck Michael Jackson."

I think the beginning of Star Wars: ANH and Raiders of the Lost Ark simply for bringing anticipation of not just the movie, but a classic series of movies.

Other than that, bundy-the American Psycho scene where he's doing all his skin care shiat? Definitely interesting yet chilling in a way. Not to mention business cards...yikes.

Not to geek out or anything, but for some reason I always remember the part in Return of the Jedi where Darth Vader is talking to the commander in charge of death star construction:
DV-You can tell that to the emperor when he arrives.
lilman-The emperor...coming here? We shall double our efforts.
DV-I hope so, for your sake Commander. The Emperor is not as forgiving as I.
lilman-*nervous gulp*
Since I'm not that geek this probably isn't 100% accurate...but seeing the look on the Commander's face is priceless.

Ah ha! I've thought of another one, and since the thread has been revived, I can post it.

Apollo 13: The entire countdown sequence, until the Saturn V rocket actually takes off. I've actually cried watching this scene before, on multiple occassions.

From the Big Lebowski- The scene in the bowling alley with Jesus. The Dude, Donnie are listening to Walter's story of how Jesus is a sex offender and then it switches to Jesus celebrating a strike then a flash back to Walter's story and then to end the scene an amazingly hilarious confrontation between Jesus the Dude and Walter. It is truley comedy at its best!!!!!!!!!

Ooooh...there's just so many to choose. I keep thinking of more:

Cool Hand Luke: I can eat 50 eggs.

Pleasantville: The scene when Bud and his girlfriend (I can't believe I can't remember her name) drive up to Lover's Lane and all the blossoms are falling off the trees. Also the scene where Big Bob gives his big speech about protecting the town in front of the bowling scores. (I know this is an homage to Patton, but I haven't seen it, so I can't comment on the real scene).

---------------------------------------
Great expectations: crap movie but 2 STAND OUT scenes:
Pip (Ethan hawke) runs into the restauraunt where Estella (Gweneth Paltrow) is eating with her date and just takes her hand, weaves through the crows, out the door and kisses her in the rain...fabulous camera angles, and music and EVERYTHING.

Later in the movie, he is drunk and runs to her house, stands outside and yells "i did it all for you, i did everything for you"....as the rain pours down on our poor hero....

-------------------------------------------
love actually: where Keira knightly is watching her wedding video that her husband's best friend took and comes to the realization that he was in love with her...."but you don't even LIKE me!!" His response.."call it....self defense"
-------------------------------------------
Amelie: THe whole final scene where she is baking the cake(?) and dreaming that photobooth guy is getting her groceries and surprising her, but it is only her cat moving the curtains, and then...he appears....and they kiss....ahhhh l'amour. and the little scooter jaunt through the town....sniff...i want to move to France now....

There are so many, but from top of my head:

Saving Private Ryan- When the wall collapses accidentaly and the Americans and German soldiers are in a standout, both pointing guns at each other, screaming for each other to drop their weapons, and then another American units comes from top and takes those Germans out in a flash.

Fight Club- When Tyler Durden is giving Jack a burn in the hand with a lye, telling him the importance of human sacrifice, pain and suffering.

I'm going to forget a lot (obviously), but here are a few:

The Matrx: Neo and Trinity enter the building to rescue Morpheus. As soon as the metal detector goes off, it's gold.

I kinda hate to say it, but... Signs: The end of the movie where the kid is okay, and Mel Gibson is all amazed and all of the foreshadowing "comes together". It's borderline cheesy, but makes my heart rise up into my throat.

This Is Spinal Tap: "... but these ones go to eleven."

Love, Actually: The end scenes where everything sort of comes together. God I feel like such a sap sometimes.

Commando: Arnold impales the one bad guy on a steam pipe and lets out the best one liner of all time... "Let off some steam."

Not Another Teen Movie: Main jock guy's girlfriend tells him they're broken up, and the movie does its first parody of American Beauty. I want laugh every time I even think of it.

Speaking of which, American Beauty (well, even though every scene in the movie could be here): The last scene, where it's got an aerial shot of the city, and Kevin Spacey is doing the monologue on death.

Just to add,
Philadelphia- where Tom Hanks' character starts translating for Denzel Washington's the opera in the background... Absolutely beautiful.

Also, a new favorite,
Garden State- where Zach Braff and Natalie Portman are sitting in the bathtub together, fully clothed and dry, just talking, and Zach Braff's character says, "Who are you?" To which Natalie Portman's replies, "I'm your new friend, Sam." Quite possibly one of the most romantic situations I can think of....

Monty Pythons Holy Grail - The Holy Hand Grenade scene (the entire scene from bunny to bits) and the scene where Brian is made to write 'Romans Go Home' across the entire complex.

Star Trek First Contact - The battle with the Borg Cube right at the start. Man i love Starfleet ships of the line.

Die Hard With A Vengace - The secen where the dump trucks are entering/leaving the vaults, the music in that scene (i thinks it's the animals went into the ark, but maybe thats just different words from another version) makes me giggle in a smug way.
