Legend of Huma was allright a good read, but most of the books not written by W&H were bad, just not good writting and no plots what so ever. I suggest you pick up Forgotten Realms books, mainly the Dark Elf Saga by R. A. Salvatore, great reads.

Legend of Huma was good from what I remember and I think Kaz the Minotaur was also. I didn't read too many more of the DL novels. I found the Forgotten Realms books much more interesting. I agree with LordEden......read the Salvatore books.

Both my suggestions have already been mentioned. Legend of Huma was a great read not as good as the Chronicles (there's no Tasslehoff and Flint). I finished the Dark Elf Trilogy last year it was a good series as well. I would also suggest the Dark Sun novels for a different world feel.

After Chronicles you might want to read "The Next Generation", "Dragons of Summer Flame" followed by a few more sets like The War of the Souls: Dragons of a Fallen Sun (Volume I), Dragons of a Lost Star (Volume II), Dragons of Vanished Moon (Volume III) or The Chaos War Books.
The books i mentioned deal with the characers from Chronicles and where written by the same authors. Its kinda one big long storyline.

A couple worth mentioning for me would be Erik Van Lusbader's Sunset Warrior series and the Ring of Five Dragons.
His other stuff is excellent as well for you ninja lovin' folks. Walter Mosley's Blue Light is good sci fi and his Easy Rawlins series is excellent reading. I've been reading a lot of future fic like Hammer's Slammers and Simon R Green's Deathstalker series. Now I have to dig out my DL series to re-read it.
