for me the worst is by far was kazaam.... actually I felt more pain while watching battlefield earth but afterwards I felt so good that it ended that it was strangely worthwhile.

Well, people have mentioned the Mortal Kombat movies, but I think there are much worse video game adaptations around. Double Dragon is painful to watch.

I think Manos: Hands of Fate should get an honorable mention... Although MST3K has brought me to love it.

Scorpion King was just so awful. It physically hurts me to dredge up memories of something so phenomenally bad, so I'll stop now.

Moulin Rouge - I could not sit through the first 30 minutes. One of the few movies I actually walked out on.

The Rollerball remake with Chris Klein & LL Cool J was really, really terrible. It especially sucked because I waited for so long for it to come out. I immediately went home and watched the waaaaaaay superior 70's original with James Caan to counteract the bad effects of the remake.

I believe that Dude...Where's My Car? goes on a worst movie list just on sheer principle. What could they have been thinking when they came up with this crapfest (or rather, what were they smoking/shooting?)? How anyone derived anything (humor, entertainment) from this movie is beyond me. The only good thing about this movie was the fact that I didn't actually pay to see it.

Navy Seals - I went to see this movie with an actual Navy Seal, and he laughed all the way through it.

I just saw last night on HBO for the first and last time one of the worst movies ever: Pluto Nash with Eddie Murphy. It was unbelievably bad!!

Is he just picking the worst movies out there and starring in them? Just look at his most recent movies, bombs all of them!!

I have to many movies to list. Most of the worst movies ever have mostly been covered here.

I despise that movie with Denzel Washington and Russell Crowe: Russell Crowe is a homicidal computer program who somehow becomes real. Really stupid flick.

And Blankman. With Damon Wayans. He is a superhero who wears a piece of carpet on his face as a disguise. Only movie I have ever walked out of.

I also checked out imdb.com's top 100 list. Listing Gigli as the number one worst movie of all time is ridiculous. I actually went to see Gigli before I heard it was supposed to suck. To tell you the truth, I laughed quite a bit. Yea, the plot sucked, the onscreen romance was nill, and the ending blew, but I've seen TONS of worse movies. Mainstream actors have made much worse movies, it's just Gigli received a crapload of hype.

How about Cliffhanger? Was that a drama, or a comedy?

The worst movie of all time has to be "Punch Drunk Love" I expected it to be good, esp cause it had Adam Sandler in it and he never lets me down... but I have to say when that movie was over I felt like I had just wasted an hour and a half of my life... I advise everyone to skip that one

Oh come on, Punch Drunk Love, the worst movie ever, dear God! You should be exposed to the truly bad movies if you actually think that was the worst movie ever, i mean that's just sad if you actually think it was the WORST movie you've ever seen.

Oh and by the way, nobody listen to daydream, Punch Drunk Love was actually a good movie, don't skip it.

Even if you thought it was terrible, how exactly does it qualify for the worst movie ever. How is it that Punch Drunk Love beats out awefull movies like Bats, Pootie Tang, Gigli, ect.

OK, so the question here was... what was the worst movie that YOU have seen.... I'm just saying that In MY opinion, of the movies that I've seen... I thought "Punch Drunk Love" was the worst

In response to kyp... I knew it wasn't going to be a comedy... but I thought it was gonna be a cute movie, a love story or something like that. Yes, I was dissapointed that it didn't turn out that way... but most of all I just found it weird and not something that I enjoyed watching...

For everyone else, If you still want to see this movie... then go ahead. See it and judge for yourself...and it would be cool to hear if you liked it or not. As for you guys who have already seen it, you are intitled to your own opinion... as am I.

The worst movie ever made has a lot in common with the best movie ever made - except for the "II" after it. My vote goes to:
Caddyshack II

Also - after hearing so many people say how great it was - I finally saw Clerks the other night. It gets my vote for second-worst movie ever made.

A great concept, with some decent writing, but it had the absolute worst acting I've ever seen , with lots of $2 actors using $10 words.

Then again - I wish I could get rich making a shitty movie with a bunch of my friends.
