pretty much any movie starring robin williams, with the exception of a few... his worst was by far "what dreams may come" movie made no sense to me whatsoever... and i'm a pretty fucking deep thinker... [/QUO As I started out reading this I was for sure that I would be the only one to mention the movie "what dreams may come". I do however enjoy Robin Williams but this movie sucked big time. The ONLY time I have ever wanted to leave the theatre in the middle of something was when I wasted money to go and see this. I also thought more than 1 person would say the blair witch project, that too sucked big time |

New winner.
Cruel Intentions 2. At least the first one was almost halfway decent, the second one is just a total joke.

The Irishman, too, picked the fly out of his drink but then held it out over the beer and yelled "SPIT IT OUT, SPIT IT OUT, YOU BASTARD!" |

Spaced Invaders, one of the only movies I've ever walked out on.
On a side note, Hudson Hawk is consistantly called one of the worst movies ever and frankly I don't understand why. I've seen it about 10 times and I laugh every time. Yes it's stupid, yest it's slapstick, yes the acting is horrible, just like Austin Powers. I'm convinced the critics thought it was supposed to be a serious film. I may have already thrown my 2 cents worth into this thread somewhere, but whats 2 cents more?
The worst movie by far is Blair Witch Project 2. How do you take a completely original idea, which was a great movie and kicked ass in the theatres, then do the exact opposite for the sequel, and expect to make a good movie? That was a giant steaming pile of shit if Ive ever seen one. |

Cookie-Cutter plots can work sometimes. Often, it's the movies with original plots that end up sucking.
Worst movies? Let's see...Dude, Where's My Car? was horrible. The Dungeons and Dragons movie was shit too, and I'm a Dragonlance fan. The movie North with Elijah Wood sucked really bad, and not because I hate Elijah Wood or Bruce Willis. Mortal Kombat was pretty crappy. Anyone notice that it's harder to think of crappy movies than good movies? I guess it's a good sign that I'm trying to subconsciously forget the crap movies. -Lasereth

On the subject of bad films:
Undercover Brother, The Scarlet Letter (Demi Moore) on the subject of taste in movies, here is my two cents: We have certain people in society we credit with being experts in their field. This is true in wine, automobiles and movies. The thing to realize is that some people drive their Ford Festiva to the store, pick up a bottle of Boones Farm and settle down to watch Batteries not Included. |

I hated "Stop, Or My Mom Will Shoot!"
Almost as bad was, "Another Stakeout" w/ Rosie O'Donnell Speaking of Rosie O'Donnell, another piece of shit with her in it is, "Exit to Eden".

A tie for me, between Pootie Tang, and Bats. They were both horrible.

Chicago I couldn't stand
AI wasn't a horrible movie in itself - but a horrible letdown. I expected more considering the cast and director. ---- Anything with Tom Hanks? Thats harsh... More so then Fight Club or the Godfather IMO.

were they russian, british, or american? the actors couldn't seem to make up their minds. Not the worst movie tho, it had a good script. Actors fudged it up. worst movie ever - i wish i knew what it was called... was about some guy who inherited a farm and came back to claim it but didn't want it, and he meets up with this girl he used to go out with and shes married to someone he had hated... saw it on tv... not all of it... don't remember the title, hope noone here does either... bad actors, sad script, poor story also, since Fight Club, The Matrix, and the Harry Potters have been brought up, flamers of said movies should shoot themselves in the kneecaps. ya... cuz they all like, kicked ass!

just a thought... even thoiugh i've already done this too...
If we want to figure out what the worst movie of all time is, we should find one that noone likes, rather than defending all over the place ie: godfather

I agree with two that were mentioned in Highlander 2 ( I thought there could be only one) and the Crow 2 but for me the one that takes the cake was Starship Troopers. Denise Richards couldn't even save that movie.
(damn you Charlie Sheen) |
