Blade Runner
Star Wars (Any) Alien 1 + 3 Terminator 1 + 2 X-Men Predator 1 Minority Report Artificial Intelligence (hides behind TFP's flame-resistant wall) Also, Dark City, wouldn't that be Noir Fantasy? If not then I'll add it to my list too. "Sleep... now." |

not a big fan of science fiction movies - i've read too much good science fiction. I can't stand explosions in space that make noise. It's the geek in me...
Probably Gattica. They made an effort to make the science feel real, good cast, good dialogue and looked great. Love a mystery/chase film! |

The beginning sections of Dark City were excellent... but i felt it kinda lost its pace at the end. still, probably one of the best (and definitly one of the most original) sci-fi movies.
The Matrix was pure brilliance. Almost single handedly, it revolutionalised an industry. Terminator - probably amongst the best movies of all time imo. |

you know, I started out thinking that, of course, the caveat "after Star Wars" was understood without saying it in the original subject....but then I really couldn't think of any other sci-fi movies that really moved me. So, I'm gonna have to just stick with the original trilogy, since they are in fact my favorite movies of all time...

Starship Troopers
Blade Runner Dark City (although if Dark City's permissible then also Strange Days) Gattica David Lynch's Dune and just for my nick's sake, The Black Hole (secretly thought it was horrible)

Throw me in for "The Crow". I'm not sure why but I love that flick.
And Zardoz!

I'm going to throw Lifeforce out there, as well as a movie called Saturn 3.
And most important of all... Close Encounters of the Third Kind. If we're talking tv though... I'd say 'V' and Red Dwarf take the cake.
