Lion Sculpt

Here's a lion I'm working on, it's halfway done. I plan on making a mold of it and filling the mold with liquid stone. Any criticism would be greatly appreciated.

I prefer light stone because it seems to bring out the detail more....

Great work. The mane really looks nice! It can be really hard to replicate fur in any type of art.

It fell off my desk the other day and now it needs to be redone. I can show you some more pics but I dont think you'd want to see a retarded looking lion :P

about 3 hours of actual sculpting but alot of time was spent studying the lion form. I found out there's a fine line between a lion and a bear look (without the mane of course)

When I get possesed again I think I'll try to fix it......

Awesome.

I'm with Tasu on the arms... not sure if they're too long or what, but they don't quite look right in that pic. The mane and face are amazing though.
