Lion Sculpt

Here's a lion I'm working on, it's halfway done. I plan on making a mold of it and filling the mold with liquid stone. Any criticism would be greatly appreciated.

wow totally cool.. reminds me abit of the lion from 'The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe' Very cool... hrmm I think that was it... but either way if you ever do the mold and finish the cast show us how it turns out :D
|

might be just me... but thoes front arms seem kinda long...
could just be the picture... but ya, i really like what you're doing there.= |

I might be on crack though. |

Great work. The mane really looks nice! It can be really hard to replicate fur in any type of art.
|
thanks for your contribution.
the in-process aspect is real nice. good luck with the piece! |
very nice, got any pics of different angles?
|
now that is really neat....good job....

:( ah man, that sucks...how much time had you put into it?
|
about 3 hours of actual sculpting but alot of time was spent studying the lion form. I found out there's a fine line between a lion and a bear look (without the mane of course)
When I get possesed again I think I'll try to fix it...... |
Wow, really neat.
|
Awesome. :)
I'm with Tasu on the arms... not sure if they're too long or what, but they don't quite look right in that pic. The mane and face are amazing though. |
cool stuff, please continue to post pics of this in the future.
