I remember the day my Mother introduced me to the idea of:
Brunch. She was trying to awake my pubescent dead-to-the-world deep 16 hour sleep events, with the promise of food. I do not remember high school. I slept. Brunch was her cup of tea, also. All was well. Here is one of Ourcrazymodern's doodles. What a person can do with a coffee ring is amazing. Last edited by ring; 05-10-2010 at 10:36 AM.. |

A place I once worked at had me tweaking the colour of these scanned ceramic tiles so I could output a vast quantity on a large format digital printer - they were going for wallpaper looking like expensive tile I believe. So while I was waiting for the customer to approve a print I had the file open in photoshop and for the first time doodled using that program. I liked the look so I printed some out, tucked them in econo frames, and gave them to family members one Christmas.
I eventually handed that particular job off because I couldn't stand working in the new room they set up - something about a laminator machine and rubber volatiles boiling out of the heated rollers . . . Years later I hear of this thing called giclee prints and how people were paying a mint for them. Who knew? Anyway - my Dinotile
