hello all! i am so pleased to stumble back into TFP for an undetermined time frame.
i must track down sketch book, crappy phone camera, and post some poo. GH, your tiny parachuting elephant from 9/21 wants to come live in my tiny house. please send it over now. all of your works are great, but frogza and kramus give me something for which to aspire. my land is land of only two dimensions. i love how you two cram that elusive 3rd dimension on the page and tell it who's boss.

I like to add color washes to warm up the tones but I don't like some of the color calligraphy inks available, So I tried using cheaper options i.e. leftover coffee and tea. Since the pigment is fairly watered down, I can keep layering it on to get subtle lines and textures. Also there's some oxidation that occurs whenever using these materials (green tea & wine especially), so the tones feel more natural to me. A bit unpredictable and time consuming, but that's all part of the fun. =)

Ah, I haven't drawn anything decent in years.
I can't find any of my old scans from pencil and ink, but I do some work in MS paint haha. This is what I drew last:

What ho Vigilante!
Is that a High Efficiency, Low Noise, Inductorless Step-Down DC/DC Converter? It needs a tentacle or three in there somewhere if you want to up the efficiency more than just two-times higher than a linear regulator. Just saying... |

I just want to power my headphones without a battery. Battery added for idea of contact placement, but not to be kept in the system while running on USB.
