Have you had children? Because that weakens the back muscles. You should try anal with you on your back and a pillow under your tush, I love that position, and it seems easier. Or you on top, that can help too.

After having lower back surgery my therapist said that one of the best ways to stretch the back is by having missionary style sex -- wrap your legs around his body and enjoy! It works for me.
