You should definitely talk to your doctor about this.
Hope everything is ok and I wish you luck with your endeavor to conceive.

Definitely ask your doctor.
The only other thing I can add is that there have been times when masturbating that I've had some really bad pain when leading to an orgasm... so painful, I'd quit cold turkey. It'd feel like my insides were clenching and pinching, and would make my entire pubic bone hurt. Freaky how I could feel it in my bones. I'm trying to remember if it only happened when on birth control pills... I think it might have. I haven't had the pain since I got off the pill, and I don't recall having the pain before going on the pill. So it definitely could be hormone-related. I never asked my doctor, but you definitely should. Good luck. |

...a while ago i read that some women experience a dull pain in the left side of their ovaries during ovulation as the egg is making it's way down. Once I read that I began noticing that very pain during times of ovulation. It became quite strong at times. I guess I never paid attention to it before becoming aware of what it was. But it was never so painful as you describe...not that i recall anyway.
...i'm not saying this is what you're experiencing but just throwing it out there. It's a great time to be making a baby if that's the case.

Additionally, the ovaries are held in place by a couple of different ligaments, the ovarian ligament and suspensory ligament of the ovary. Tearing these can cause pain, but what typically tears these ligaments are serious things like problems during childbirth, inappropriately performed abortion, previous violent sexual intercourse, or rape. There is a pretty good rundown of causes of pain during sex here: Sexual Pain - Why is Sex Painful My guess would be that your doctor knows that many of these causes are unlikely for you.
