How To Make A Pic Smaller
Hi,
I'm not a tilted newbie, but I'm pretty green when it comes to technology. I have a pic that I want to post. It's something like 760 kb and it can only be 100 kb or something like that. I don't know how to resize it so that I can post it. Any helpers out there???

There's like a "Paint" option, which I tried but it doesn't cut/paste/edit. I do have Adobe and AutoCad.

Sweet! Hopefully it's Adobe Photohop (not Acrobat).
Open Photoshop: Go to File > open (and navigate to the image you want to change). Then go to the top menu again and find Image > Image Size... (this will give you dimensions). Write back with the dimensions, and we'll go from there.

Here's a really easy 'resizing' tutorial for Picture It: http://www.marysgraphics.com/picit/basic/resize.html

It's all good ladies. Today I have learned something. Not everything, mind you, but something...

A easy program is called Fast Stone Image viewer. Its free too (and no spyware like many other programs). Just look it up in google or any search engine to get it. It lets you resize pics and so on. I really recomend it if you don't want to go out and buy photoshop.

knowing how to resize your own pics is kind of an internet equivalent of tying your own shoes, imo.

I recommend Micorsoft PowerToys. There is an image resizer that makes it very easy. Just right-click and resize. Of course this isn't as powerful as Photoshop or any image editor for that matter but it's very easy to use and good for newbs.
