Quality pics to post, but a quandry...
I have photos of famous paintings.
Chegall Monet Van Gough Matisse Pollack Picasso I saw these while touring the National Gallery in Ottawa, and I took pictures to share. Problem: In Tilted Artowrk, it says original work only. I have never pretended to be as talented as Monet. In Tilted Photography, although these are MY pictures, am I allowed to post photos of other works? Aha! Not nearly as clear as I once thought. Help Tecoyah!

BigBen931, I think the exhibiting of others artwork to be kind of a 'grey' area. Quite possibly we in the photo forum would rather see your original and unique views of perhaps, the museum the works were housed in, or the neighborhood housing the museum, or even the folks you visited the place with.
While I never turn down a chane to view such masters as the ones you had a chance to see, I really enjoy the opportunity to admire photographers original compositions. |

thanks for the heads up. I really thought that was the case.
I think they should go into artwork, because they are art. Who wants to see a photo of a painting in Tilted Photography? You know where I am going to put them? In the regional forum, CANADA, since it is the National Gallery!

Hi tecoyah, I've heard little bits around the site that this used to be a 'titty board' type of place, are there any links or something around here that tells of the journey or evolution that has made TFP what it is today?
(This is of course an assumption based on a few comments, so please forgive me if I am incorrect or this is inappropriate)

Sexuality,....and Living would be the spots. Nothing specific to Gays....as you will find we dont need to define each other in such a way here. Everyone is who they are regardless of label and all respect others. You can post anywhere the subject fits, just make sure you read the rules, and have a blast.

I have a feeling you're going to yell at me and tell me that I should search or find it myself, but there is so much discussion about this issue on so many super long threads that I would really just like to ask here
Other than naked pictures, what is there to be had once you get upgraded? NO, I'm not looking for porno, I'm curious as to what else there is to be had. YES I am interested in talking to people online in a forum-like environment. Finding free porn on the net is like finding cow shit on a dairy farm anyways. |

The depths of conversation expand dramatically when full access is granted. We are careful in upgrade due to the extent of true communication that can be found in these boards, and work very hard to keep these areas free of immature debate, and those who fail to understand what it means to contribute to a community.
The actual content is something you may see for yourself at some point....but it is not for me to paint a picture of it. I will say this.... No one has been dissapointed at gaining full membership....no one.

I was watching something on TV last night about pre-historic art.
There was a bit about some fairly recently discovered #12,000 year old carved columns but I didn't catch the name of the place. It was two words. First word begins with 'G' and is fairly long. The second sounds like "Tepê" G--------- Tepê? |

This has been answered many times, but a little perspective : The ratio of male to female on this board is very high, and often, any predominantly male oriented thread will get enough feedback and responses from male posters despite its location on the board. Because the number of women is smaller, it helps our threads from getting buried among all the posts to have them in a centrally located place.

I put the seat up for you
This thread reminded me of the time that I went to a party that was being hosted by an alternative lifestyles group. The party was held in a gay club, which was filled to capacity with all types of people and genderbenders. The kicker was that there were 3 bathroom stalls in one uni(everything)sex bathroom.
As I waited in line to relieve my bladder there were several gay men ahead of me and as one of them departed the stall he chuckled and said "I put the seat down for you dear". I laughed and said thank you. Not to be outdone, knowing that most of club was filled with men I put the seat up before I vacated the stall and said to the next person in line "oh, don't worry I put the seat up for you . Maddie |

We tend to leave closed threads up , so that the community can understand the reasons for closure. This not only helps to set the standard, but also tends to send a bit of a hint if needed to the member(s) that may have caused the thread to Die. We try very hard to be transparent in policing this project....as in the long run, open communications are really what will define what this place becomes.
Call it a tool of our evolution.

I have some tech questions. When I look at my own posts, the search finds that I have made 56 posts. However, when I look at the rest of the profile, it says, Poppinjay as made 33 posts. I can read all 56 posts so I know they exist. Why does the other count stand at 33 (and has been standing at 33 for a while)?

Did you make some of those posts in the titty board? They don't count towards your post count... at least I don't think they do anymore.

I've never made a post on the titty board. I made one post a year and a half ago when I joined and intended to participate. All the rest have come since I actually started participating a month ago.
Most of my posts are in NONSENSE, does that make a difference? It may be a plot to keep me from putting up an avatar of me going down on Phyllis Diller. Which is understandable.
