This is John Galt speaking...

Hi, everyone;

I don't have time to visit TFP as often as I'd like to, but I wanted to stop by to wish you all a Merry Christmas.

I'm guessing that Santa Claus won't be bringing me exactly what I want this year (Alicia Silverstone and a 2004 Ford Lightning), but I will get to spend time with friends and family members that I don't see very often...and I'm pretty sure that I will score some cool CD's, DVD's, books and X-Box games.

I hope my fellow TFPers have a great day, enjoy the company of their loved ones, and get all the presents they were hoping for.

Galt

Really. Just check any one of the 15 flyers that they must have sent you this year.

I know darn well who John Galt is. That book was life-altering for me. Thanks for the link, by the way. Maybe I shall pick up that shirt, and on alternate days wear a "Yossarian lives!" shirt. That will really confuse my friends.

ahh, I never had the chance to read the book [perhaps I will eventually, but it's not exactly on in the front of my queue..], but I actually didn't know who he was until the fall, when the College Republicans (I assume to appeal to the libertarian kids) put fliers around campus exclaiming "Who is John Galt ?".

cya,
will.

I think I prefer The Fountainhead to Atlas Shrugged, but I'm due for a reread of both soon.
