Hot Dogs go splat

Well, this evening I decided it was nice and warm enough to fire up the nice gas grill we got goin on outside and cook up some hot dogs for myself and my brother. So I grill them, they get nice and toasty black and crispy as I roll them across the grill and I decide that these poor weiners have been tortured enough. So I grab the first one with some long BBQ tongs and unbeknownst to me, I didn't have a very firm grip on it and as I was reaching to put it on the plate it managed to wrangle its way loose of the toothy grip and try to escape to the ground below.

I tell you, my friends...the hot dog didn't get far. I saw it in slow motion fall fall fall and it made the weirdest crunch/splat sound when it hit the concrete deck, that I have ever heard.

poor guy didn't live btw....
[edit]:oh, and the other ones were quite tasty :-)

Isn't it a rule that you should first drop the dog on the ground *before* you feed it to your brother? I know I use that rule all the time...

Better add some insects then. More protein than the hot dogs probably have

You know, you could've just washed it off, then slapped it back on the grill to reheat it.

Chickens eat dirt. Chickens don't taste bad. Dirt can't taste too bad.

Did you compare its weight with a witch?

It burns and floats. Must be made of wood (shavings). Or a duck.

(Now having expended my Python quota for 2 years...)
