Are all pornstars bi?
seems like it at least.
almost every pornstar that i know has done a bi scene that i've watched, i cant think of any that havent. so, is it now a requirement to be bi to be a pornstar? btw, i'm just talking about girls here.

In the porn industry, we call it "GAY FOR PAY"
Learn the phrase, we use it a lot.

Pornstars?
Hell, I've noticed most of Hollywood is bi, men & women. My theory is that most of the people living there are into instant gratification. So, whatever is at "hand", so to speak. Or is it because they tend to be more open & aggressive there? Who knows? Oh well, whatever floats your boat. Doesn't bother me a bit. |

I don't reckon I'd go and shell out the spondoolahs for a flick that has 7 girls and one guy, and all the girls wait patiently in line for their turn...

Well, people are influenced by their enviroments, when porn stars have to tough each other frequently on stage. it ll be no wonder that their sexual orientation will be shifted

Well the thing you have to remember is why did they get into porn in the first place? Well atleast one reason is they probably enjoy sex more so then the average person. And as I have found Bi girls are often so because of their sheer lust. Trust me I dated one

Not to sound repetitive but it's all about the money. They get paid one thing for a blow job, another for normal sex, another for lesbian sex, another for peeing, another for fisting, etc. All these little extra things mean more and more money for them.

I remember reading an interview with John Lesleigh (sp?) a loong time ago where he said that when he began, male actors were required to do homosexual movies when they first started out. It seems like he had implied that it was the only way the movies could get made because of the lack or shortage of gay actors. I wonder if that's still done?
It certainly seems that all actresses are required or expected to do bi scenes. That doesn't make them bi though. It just means they're at least willing to do it for a movie. And why do they have to be horny bitches if they're in movies? It's a job and as such it isn't always enjoyable. Try reading Asia Carrera's comments about the business on her web site. Not a lot of fun, even for the guys. |

![]() Imagine some celebrity female doing something wild with another woman in the MTV Awards after parties. Some tabloids will make an issue, but nothing big comes out of it in the long run. If some male celeb does the same, Good God! He's labelled gay automatically and media will make it look like he has now came out of the closet and always been a gay and just putting up an act in public, and then they will go on to speculate is he a child molester too. Yippee.. All hail equality of genders & sexual liberation... Bah! |

It is a truism that two men together are something to be disgusted by and women together are just more eye candy (therefore arousing)...
As a guy I totally get this... it is instinct. However, the more I've thought on it over the years the less I truly understand it. There was a period in the 70s where bi was all the rage for music types like Bowie and other glam rockers... I've always been facinated that it just didn't seem to matter all that much... That sort of thing just couldn't happen today. BTW: Suviko's comment " Also, what is the definition of bisexual? Do you need actively pursue it or does it count if you sometimes daydream or like looking at babes in mags?" I'm not sure how to define it... I would put myself in the daydream catagory as well. I'm not so interested in acting it out as I am thinking about the possibility... sex is sex and sex is good.

You guys have been mainly concentrating on bi-women in the porn industry, but I read somewhere that a lot of the guys are bi also. I mean think about it, if there's a gang bang scene the guys have to be in close proximity to each other's *wang*. I would say that most men that aren't bi would be very uncomfortable in this type of a situation. And most men in porn have probably done some kind of a 2 on 1 scene, ergo, most men in porn are also bi.

I think that there is a confusion here. To my mind (and from accounts I have read), porn sets bear little relationship to real sexual exncounter.
In other words, it's a job. The stars just have to perform for the cameras, then leave. Sure they enjoy it (some more than others), but the point is that the professional sexual history and personal sexual history are, from an intellectual perspective, disjoint. The real factor for this is in the fact that the determining factor for the male star was (and to a lesser extent, is still) ability to remain erect in a too cold outdoor/too hot indoor set while sound checks, cameramen and assistant directors as well as a horde of other people watch or eat or whatever. Well, that's my impression, anyway. As for the definition of bisexual, well, in this case I would say someone who is sexually attracted to both genders. Not necessarily both equally. Social principle places men's sexual practice under a spotlight that makes any hint of homosexuality a salacious scandal, while lesbianism continues to be the "stealth-orientation", largely ignored in reality, apart from the occasional scandal shot. Women are permitted to be more sexually liberal in terms of orientation, because lesbians are not seen as a real orientation, while the penetrative nature of male homosexual relations make them a far deeper taboo. </rant>
