Friday Real-Life Humor
Delight in the misery (and stupidity) of others.....
My Sister-in-law and her friend are currently living together - sis-in-law has 2 young girls (who were in daycare during the coming story) - friend has 2 boys, 2 years old & newbie. So sis-in-law comes home from school, long day (Adult schooling, finishing her high school - to make a long story short she fucked up hard in her teen years & is now realizing she needs to fix the mistakes) and the two of them get it in their heads to smoke a couple joints. So they head out into the front porch (fully enclosed) and spark a joint. Meanwhile, the 2 year old buy, left alone in the house watching tv (god that pisses me off, but thats another rant) picks up the phone and dials 911. Now, the kid can't talk (and doesn't make a sound apparently) - so the cops come tearing through town, run up to the front door, to be greeted with the blue cloud of alot of pot smoked. Well, my sis-in-law shits, runs upstairs, and hides - leaving the friend holding the bag, literally - about a 1/2 ounce bag to be percise. Sis gets drug down from her bedroom, the two of them get a 2 hour lecture on taching kids how to use 911, not letting your kids be unsupervised, smoking pot, etc etc etc. Plus the dumbass friend coughed up my sis-in-laws entire stash, the pipes, the roach clips, everything - gone. Of course, mabye now she'll clean up, but that too is another rant. All I can do is laugh personally. Dumbasses |

Beautiful story. The wonderful thing is that nobody seems to have been held accountable for anything, and to you it's just funny. To me, it's sad. How she is fixing her past "fuckups" by smoking pot with unsupervised toddlers in the house is beyond me. But hey, that's legal up there, so I guess no harm, no foul, eh?

I'll admit freely I'm disapointed she didn't get busted (and no, pot isn't legal up here, at least not yet). It would have added to the humor of it all IMHO.
Am I going to hell for laughing at her? Probably - but shit, that level of stupidity is great to laugh at. |

Ending up in jail wouldn't have been good for her kids. Granted, it doesn't sound like they are that much better off with one. Hopefully losing her stash and having the cops come over will scare her into getting her shit together.

To be fair to the sis-in-law, HER kids were well taken care of, and not in the house at the time. It was the loser friend's kids.
Not that it makes the story overall any better. And yes, I do hope it scares them both into cleaning up. While I'm not against pot use, thats not something to be doing when there are kids to be watched. |

Mayhaps after this all settles down, she can reflect on it as an aid in straightneing her shit up.

I think the "adults" need a babysitter.
So what if it was the friend's kids. If your sis-in-law was any reasonable human being she would have realized to smoke weed with anyone's child nearby is one of the lowest things a human can do. I fail to see the humor. I have a lot of relatives that sound like her. Fucked up her teens, had kids that will end up fucked up, and never grow up or get their lives straightened out. I guess it's all about one's opinion though.
