News parody is the best, but I think we would have arrested Kissinger long before we arrested Bush, but that's another story/war/atrocity.
Still, with the recent series of threads regarding the Blitzer blunder with Parish (Canadian Member of Parliament), it wouldn't surprise me if CNN actually did report this and it was wrong. Still, I'm pretty sure that no Americans would be arrested on Canadian soil, including (especially) the Commander in Chief. Great parody, I wonder what CNN says about it Peace, Pierre

Don't assume because of my handle, like everybody else does, that this outrages me. I truly wish I lived in the universe for which this article was written... I think it was Thomas Jefferson that said, "Dissent is the highest form of patriotism." Way I see it, we're not being NEARLY patriotic enough.
Pain Train- If you all ever do happen to take him, could you do us a favor and keep him for a while? We've had him for 58 years, it's somebody else's turn to take care of him... |

Oddly, when Clinton was under the microscope for getting a BJ from an intern, I was behind him. I was pissed off at the crap he was getting and the indiscression of the media. When I first read that damn article, i was actually happy. He is not my president. I say we impeach the fucker.

I'm not a big fan of Mr Bush but as a Canadian, I find that article a bit embarrassing. I am glad Mr Bush came to Canada and took a step to patching up our relationship. I've always thought of my neighbours to the south as family and am glad that Mr Bush conveyed that message.
I doubt his speeches up here got much coverage in the US but I watched them. They were surprising eloquent , moving and even funny - especially his comment on the 5 finger wave. |

I don't think arresting the puppet president would make a bit of difference in the way the country was run because Cheney, Rumsfeld, and Papa George are really pulling his strings anyways...
Oh, he'd be missed for a while; but only by late night talk show hosts and comedians lacking for material.

Don't forget to add to that list the whining leftist libiral spinless dems who can dish it out but can't take it. "It" being comments, suggestions and let's not leave off criticism... definitely something they can't handle. The fake CNN report was expertly done... very well written and photo shopped nicely. From what I've watched on the news and read in a couple of op-eds the president did a pretty good job of patching things up with the prime minister... and I got a sense of friendship and comradery from both of them. I think good things are on the horizon for both our countries.
