Crackster has a great sense of humor, and is thoroughly evil... especially when responding to nigerian scammers... and he is AWESOME!!!

spectre 07-27-2006 10:56 AM

Crack is a great guy. Very nice, very funny, and probably has a little too much free time (see his spammer thread if you don't know what I mean ;) ). He's a lot of fun in chat, and one of the people here I'd really like to meet.

*Edit: mal's quicker than I am

mal, I don't think there are enough good things to possibly say about her. As much as she like to say she's a curmudgeon, she's really a sweetheart. I'm glad she'll be moving out this way because it'll be great to finally meet her. Even though she doesn't like Chicago style pizza. ;)

snowy 07-27-2006 11:39 AM

spectre is always fun to chat with. He's genuinely caring, generous, and interesting. What can I say? I adore the guy.

Sweetpea 07-27-2006 12:11 PM

Spectre is a great guy, all around just one of the best men I've ever known. A true honest and good heart, he'd do anything to help someone in need and i've seen him do just that more times than i can count. I've never known someone who was as genuine and caring.

I was also lucky to have learned, He happens to be an amazing lover and he's great in bed. :suave: He's got it all ladies, yes indeed, there are still men out there like that :)

I'm lucky to have him as a friend :) And we're lucky to have him here on tfp :)

whoops edit. Snowy was too fast for me.

Snowy is a wonderful woman and always adds lots of insight in her posts. :) she's a blast when she's in chat and she's also just a lovely person inside and out :icare:

JumpinJesus 07-27-2006 01:16 PM

Sweetpea has one of those personalities that, once she leaves a room, you can't help but say, "She's so cool."

Plus, she's gorgeous so it's like a double whammy.

Bill O'Rights 07-27-2006 01:29 PM

Where the hell to begin?
Great taste in women.
Not half bad behind a camera.
Has an intelligent head on his shoulders.
Ex USAF Security Police.
Teacher.

Yup...add it all up, and you got one hell of a guy.

maleficent 07-27-2006 01:34 PM

BOR -
Mild mannered shoeshine boy

When criminals in this world appear on the forum,
And break the laws that they should fear the super moderator,
And frighten all who see or hear the super moderator,
The cry goes up both far and near for B-o-R

Awesome dude- Cute asa button especially in his powder blue tuxedo with the ruffled shirt.. or his lime green leisure suit...

Salt of the earth kinda guy... and loves redheads... :D

Charlatan 07-27-2006 08:13 PM

Maleficent... forum mother...grumpy exterior with a soft gooey interior.

I value her support more than I think she knows.

Three cheers for Mal!!!

Fly 07-27-2006 08:33 PM

Charlie is the shit.

one of the most intelligent peeps i know.......

good luck on everything you do in life man.

:icare:

amonkie 07-28-2006 02:53 AM

Flyman is one of the reasons I'm cookin to get over to the West Coast before the end of the year ... I wanna hear this man on his guitar LIVE :)

spectre 07-28-2006 07:58 AM

amonkie has the user title "good human," but I think that's an understatement. She's extremely kindhearted and goes above and beyond for anyone that's a friend. I'm lucky enough to call her a friend, because she really is a "good human."

Crack 07-28-2006 10:40 AM

Spec is a really cool, laid back guy. He was nice enough to go all the way out to the airport to meet and hang out with my girlfriend and her friend when she had a long layover in Chi-town. Classsy moves from a classy guy. We need to meet up in Chicago and have some Pizza and beers soon.

shoegirl 07-28-2006 11:39 AM

Crack is a wonderful, wonderful man. Thoughtful, kind, and has the patience to put up with me (most of the time). I'm impresssed. :)

Bill O'Rights 07-28-2006 12:10 PM

Puts up with our man Crack, and has the most beautiful green eyes that I have ever seen. Really.

JumpinJesus 07-28-2006 09:29 PM

Bill O'Rights has a great sense of humor and his carefully disguised sarcasm makes for great wit. I always enjoy reading his responses.

Also, he wore a blue beret for a long time and he's not even French - at least I don't think he is.

Grasshopper Green 07-28-2006 09:54 PM

JJ, as he posted above about Bill, has a great sense of humor. His posts often crack me up, and if not..they get me thinking. Plus, he's an awesome photographer and his photos definitely add to his board!

shesus 07-29-2006 05:22 AM

Medusa is a great woman. She's very motivated and seems to always work on improving herself which is a great trait. I enjoy talking to although I've been missing her in chat lately.

shesus looks tremendous after surfing in the ocean and has never, ever called me a kid hater.

Psycho Dad 07-29-2006 07:00 AM

I'm not calling warrrreagl a kid hater, :) but I think in the posts where he isn't as warm as fuzzy towrds kids as some others, he has valid opinions. He is one of the tfpers that when I see he has replied to a post, I will read it to see what he has to say.

Crack 08-04-2006 08:47 AM

Everytime I see a post by Psycho Dad, I think of this song:

Quote:

He took a rifle
And killed a disciple
So that those
nagging thoughts
Would leave him in peace
He'd
drown a puppy
Or shive-shank a yuppie
Just to make the
voices cease
Goes on a bender
Then he surrenders
Taken into custody
So satisfying I would be lying
If
I didn't want to hear the plea

And so we gather
round Psycho Joe
The quiet loners always blow
Strap
him in the chair
And killing bad guys is such fun
Too
bad we only captured one
Are there any more out there
Are there any more out there
And in the weirdest way it
sets him free
He's finally rid of you and me
Joe
and his electric chair

He worshiped Satan
And
liked Iron Maiden
And now he's in the cold cold
ground
For more exciting
Staging and lighting
We
waited till the sun went down
Killed someone's
daughter
With the chain that they bought her
What's a daddy gonna do
But the most annoyed
Were the talk show tabloids
Because they couldn't
get an interview

And so we gather round Psycho Joe
The quiet loners always blow
Strap him in the chair
And killing bad guys is such fun
Too bad we only captured
one
Are there any more out there
Are there any more
out there
Any more out there?

You've got
your heroes
Caesars and Neros
Men of infamy and
fame
Now we've got Jo Jo
Have we sunk so low
Guess I've got myself to blame
An eye for an eye
Won't get you by
Good book says that it's a
sin
But the ratings war
Says that if we kill more
Psychopaths then we will win

And so we gather round
Psycho Joe
The quiet loners always blow
Strap him in
the chair
And killing bad guys is such fun
Too bad we
only captured one
Are there any more out there
Are
there any more out there
And in the weirdest way it sets
him free
He's finally rid of you and me
Joe and
his electric, Joe and his electric
Joe and his electrical
chair

And that makes me happy!

Props if you can name the artist without looking up the Title!

Kadath 08-04-2006 10:37 AM

Crack and I just thought the exact same thing!

Also, I went back in this thread to see the last time I had posted in it (it's been two years) and Crack was in here quite a few times, so he's clearly got a lot of positive things to say.

Giant Hamburger 08-04-2006 01:36 PM

Kadath dwells in a marble city atop an immense cosmic mountain in the Cold Waste where he stoically endures the Indians and their bullpen's inability to finish games.

Charlatan 08-04-2006 02:34 PM

Giant Hamburger is massive presence in his little burgers lives... His love of pick up basketball and big fat stogies is commendable given his sloppy toppings.

I have nothing but respect for this man.

amonkie 08-04-2006 02:45 PM

A man who walks the walk, I have nothing but good memories if Charlatan is involved. Whats not to love about a guy who is willing to lick flyman's ass?

uncle phil 08-04-2006 04:26 PM

American 08-07-2006 11:35 AM

flat doesn't say much, but he makes some good points (......).

maleficent 08-07-2006 06:25 PM

Oooh American's a smart ass -- we like that in a person... :D

He's got a 10 whole posts to his credit, but they've been thoughtful and insightful and I look forward to reading more from him... (welcome)

Willravel 08-07-2006 06:33 PM

Mal is the sweet, wonderful, super-cool best friend we all had/have. She always has a kind word and a smile.

Gatorade Frost 08-07-2006 06:35 PM

Will, I disagree with you on some things, but whenever I have questions you tend to be a fountain of wisdom for me.

shesus 08-08-2006 04:42 AM

G_Frost has made me laugh a few times in chat. That's always a good thing. :)

JustJess 08-08-2006 05:50 AM

shesus is many good things, but my focus for today is how energetic she is, and how impressed I am that she is actively pursuing new things for herself and her career; she's not just sitting around moaning and groaning, she's out there. Kudos! Balls of steel, woman!

Charlatan 08-08-2006 07:17 AM

Jess is a warm soul. She is the first to admit that she doesn't know everything and will actively take steps to gain knowledge and understanding... what more can you ask of anyone?

She has been helpful to me in many little ways as well... in both advice and support.

And it goes without saying that she is the other half of the Jessdro duo, one of our more dynamic TFP duos.

I can't wait for an excuse to travel to NYC to meet her and Q (so they can be out of town ).

maleficent 08-08-2006 07:32 AM

What can I say about a man who has such a love for his family.... he's a very good man...:D he shows compassion and caring for most people... and i think the world's a better place cuz of him

Bill O'Rights 08-08-2006 07:39 AM

Oh c'mon...it's mal. What's not to love about her? In a house full of kids...she's the adult that I can relate to. Plus, she has a thing for platform shoes, lime green leisure suits and powder blue tuxes. All of which...I have worn at some point in time. She's smart, she gets to the point, and doesn't put up with BS. Gotta love that in a redheaded woman. ;)

dksuddeth 08-08-2006 08:20 AM

One of the smarter people on this board. Whenever any subject is talked about at length, is always able to find the one part nobody thought about.

captobvious 08-08-2006 08:32 AM

dksuddeth can compliment someone without writing in complete sentences. I'm a big fan of people who can get a message across in the fewest number of words.

Bill O'Rights 08-10-2006 06:17 AM

Captobvious is liberal in his usage of the medium...sarcasm. I like that in a psuedo-super hero. Plus...I'm a big fan of Non Sequitor, and Obviousman just cracks me the hell up. And since captobvious obviously reminds me of Obviousman...well, you can see where I'm going here. ;)

healer 08-10-2006 06:57 AM

BOR is just one cool dude. I hope I'm able to exude the same amount of coolness when I get to be his age.

And that hanging-off-the-side-of-the-building move was super-dopper cool.

Bill O'Rights = Cooler than the other side of the pillow.

maleficent 08-10-2006 07:01 AM

Quote:

here i was gonna say nice things about healer, but it looks like this young whippersnapper is calling BOR an old fart... :D

I was no where near as cool as healer is when I was his age... back when the dinasaurs walked the earth... He's a very nice, helpful young man, who would probably help an old lady like me across the street... :D

plus he seems awfully fond of his young lady, mandy which is nice to see..

All around good egg...

CaliLivChick 08-10-2006 08:59 AM

Mal. Greatest. Mom. Ever.

shoegirl 08-10-2006 10:42 AM

Liv is fabulous! Wonderfully nice, great to talk to in chat, and helped save me from being stuck in Chicago's airport overnight. :)

spectre 08-10-2006 12:10 PM

shoegirl is a sweetheart. Having met her, she's someone that you definitely want to hang out with just because she's a lot of fun and has a great sense of humor. Definitely someone I'm glad to have met.

amonkie 08-10-2006 04:03 PM

Spec can rock out with the best of them .. and he doesn't even get slowed down by hair!

And I think Quincy has a secret crush on him ...

CaliLivChick 08-10-2006 05:21 PM

amonkie is a lot of fun in chat... and it's wonderful that she's been sucked into the world of Macs! =)

Supple Cow 08-10-2006 10:46 PM

Liv is kindly and thoughtful, and she took to the TFP like a duck to water. It was a pleasure meeting her in Orlando for a zany night at a bar.

Bill O'Rights 08-11-2006 04:24 AM

Cute...oh so cute. Boppy, perky, well dressed, loves her desserts...especially the ice cream. So much fun, and one of several reasons that I was sad that we had to cancel our trip to NY this summer. Definately a member that lights up my day when she posts.

Willravel 08-15-2006 01:29 PM

When criminals in this world appear,

BOR!!

Bill is good people, and was one of the first people to aknowledge me when I joined those years ago. He made me feel welcome.

spectre 08-15-2006 01:37 PM

will constantly amazes me. He's very wise for someone so young. Actually, it surprised me when I found out that he was younger than I am because of that wisdom and responsibility that he has. He's also a hell of a nice guy and always a pleasure to talk to in chat.

Toaster126 08-15-2006 03:59 PM

Spec is coming out to see me even though it seems I might have to carry him around Chicago. I've bought one of those baby carriers though so it should be all good, lol.

Sweetpea 08-15-2006 04:10 PM

Toaster is the kind of guy who everyone needs in their corner... if you ask his opinion he tells you like he sees it and can be counted on for pure honesty. He's got a heart of gold and a kind spirit. Should be more people like him... but then... Earth would be too cool ;)

sweetpea

ShaniFaye 08-15-2006 04:32 PM

Sweetpea was the only one nice enuff to ask to see my hard work on a slide show I made of little seen wedding pictures, and it meant the whole world to me

rockogre 08-15-2006 05:26 PM

ShaniFaye is one of the nicest, most considerate people I have met at TFP. Can't say it any plainer than that.

Elphaba 08-15-2006 07:05 PM

How could I not respect the rockogre? He's from my generation, been in harms way and made it back to the world. And his bike is to die for.

A very good man, with great wisdom.

amonkie 08-15-2006 07:55 PM

Elphaba is one of the reasons I am hoping to get into the PacNW before the end of the year ... she has a strong self of self yet knows when to bend.

spectre 08-15-2006 08:12 PM

I like to believe good things will happen to good people. If that's true, amonkie is more than due for the biggest lotto payout in recorded history. She has a kind heart and is always willing to help anyone. Definitely a good friend to have. :)

Supple Cow 08-16-2006 09:20 AM

Spec is warm, kind, and thoughtful. A silent presence I sometimes took for granted before I met him in person, he exemplifies what a mod of the TFP should be.

Crack 08-16-2006 11:22 AM

Even though I think SC called me fat earlier (I think...) she is just awesome. She is fun to talk to in chat, and I think she really does care about the well-being of TFP, and, as this is my 2nd home (my only home at some points) I like that in a person. :)

I almost forgot: http://www.tfproject.org/tfp/showthread.php?t=96965

CaliLivChick 08-16-2006 04:48 PM

Crack is devious, evil, and I always look forward to reading about his latest escapade. ;) Also, he has great taste in women (have you seen shoegirl? She's hawt!), and is sweet, kind, caring, and not afraid to be himself. =)

spectre 08-19-2006 12:02 PM

CaliLivChick is very kind hearted, always looking to get a smile out of people in chat, especially when they've had a bad day.

maleficent 08-19-2006 02:38 PM

specster can always find the good in people and is patient beyond belief... (i guess the patience comes from being a long suffering fan of da bears :D For sweet speccie - here's hoping they go all the way to the super bowl.. :D

spec believes in his bears and he believes in people... What's not to like :D

Zeraph 08-19-2006 03:05 PM

Mal may think she is gruff or not very nice but actions speak louder than words. She's often one of the first people to reply to a thread and with sound advice too. She's wise and kind, maybe not as wise as she would like to be, but who is?

(plus she's a redhead  )

Glory's Sun 08-28-2006 07:27 AM

Zeraph has a great sig. and makes good posts as well. I don't know Zeraph that well so I can't say much more, but that always leaves room to get to know more members! :)

Sultana 08-28-2006 07:39 AM

guccilvr, how do I love thee? Let me count the ways:

He holds his own opinions, and yet is unfailingly polite to those who hold differing views.

He's a hard worker.

He loves his woman.

He's open-minded.

I gotta stop or he'll think I have a crush or something!
:icare:  :suave:

JustJess 08-28-2006 07:59 AM

Sultana is always even-tempered on the boards and has kind words for all. AND she designs really awesome belly dancing outfits that make me wish my hips were as cool as hers! Plus she's good at meetups - almost as good as Konichiwaneko. :)

shesus 08-28-2006 09:29 AM

JustJess is just a really nice person. She also was nice enough to offer to help me with my new job...if I ever slow down enough to ask for it. :)

shoegirl 08-28-2006 09:34 AM

Shesus is just the nicest person EVER! :) Anyone who'll take time out of their day to save me from the airport is #1 in my book. YAY shesus! :)

CaliLivChick 08-28-2006 02:10 PM

shoegirl is kicking ass in the Ultimate Mind Game, and I respect that... I just wish I could crawl into her brain and figure out how she's doing it! :D

Oh yeah, and she's really sweet, nice, and just a great all around person. :*

Ch'i 08-28-2006 02:50 PM

CaliLivChick is always upbeat and positive. If I had a dime for every complement she's given I'd have at least $1.20.

fresnelly 08-28-2006 07:40 PM

In a very short time, Ch'i has shown himself to be a model member who contributes well thought out posts, and is getting fully into the spirit of what this place ought to be.

Welcome!

amonkie 08-29-2006 03:41 AM

Fresnelly has the way of making you feel like you've known him forever, and has an incredible new patio to enjoy to boot! :)

JustJess 08-29-2006 04:27 AM

Amonkie is the very definition of a Good Human. She's beautiful, she's kind, she's intelligent, she's a knockout, did I mention she's really nice to look at?

Sorry, today I feel like focusing on the picture, not the words. :)

shesus 08-29-2006 04:27 AM

Monkie is a strong woman and a good friend. I admire how hard she works. I'm curious to see where she'll end up in life because I know it will be awesome.

oops

Not only is justjess faster than me, but she's a great person who I am complimenting again today. :) She is awesome.

dksuddeth 08-29-2006 04:32 AM

shesus has one of the most beautiful pair of eyes i've ever seen.

Martian 11-24-2006 04:47 AM

dksuddeth is an individual who isn't afraid to stand up and be counted. He says what's on his mind and no less, a trait I find to be very admirable.

snowy 11-24-2006 04:59 AM

Martian is one of the most considerate, caring, and interesting individuals I know of.

Glad to see you back ;)

beavstrokinoff 11-24-2006 08:01 AM

Onesnowyowl is so soft and white

SirLance 11-24-2006 08:58 AM

Beav is always up for a new experience and never crabby about it. Unlike some ex-green-beret types around here...

blue_eyes 11-24-2006 02:06 PM

Don't know you , I'm just a noob testing the waters..but since you posted here I'd have to say somewhere inside you there is simply an amazin' person. Rock on!

Martian 11-24-2006 09:21 PM

blue_eyes is a noob and I'm largely inactive. Consequently, I have no idea who he (or she) is and cannot make any insightful comments as to his (or her) character, personality or other merits. However, his (or her) handle puts me in mind of Frank Sinatra, who definitely makes my list of top ten coolest people ever. Therefore, blue_eyes must be cool by association.

TexanAvenger 11-24-2006 09:34 PM

I think I've yet to see Martian say anything that has made me think of him in a negative light.

And he looks damn good in a fedora.

Intense1 11-24-2006 09:41 PM

TexanAvenger is a damned nice person, whether they're a he or a she. Just viewed TA's posts, and they're varied, and point to a really, really overall stand up kinda guy/gal, one I'd be glad to call friend. :icare:

Ch'i 11-24-2006 11:48 PM

Intense1 is a good gal. She has a great deal of optimism and an inner strength which gives her an attribute of perseverance and fortitude.

I find the gender confusion wonderful. :D
It's really not all that uncommon, as this is the internet, but still makes me smile.

To put things right: Intense1 learned how to count to twenty small appendages as a child, I learned how to count to twenty-one.

So as not to completely threadjack, or take another compliment for myself, please continue with Ch'i, who I believe is a pretty cool guy.

Ch'i 11-25-2006 12:06 PM

I had a 50/50 chance of getting it right, but it seems the odds were not very favorable this time.

Telluride 11-25-2006 08:56 PM

Ch'i has a cool signature and shares a number of my interests/hobbies.

Martian 12-02-2006 02:45 AM

Poor Telluride's not getting any Say Something Nice lovin. Which is a shame, since he's quite deserving of loving. Very intelligent young man, and with an excellent Heinlein quote to boot.

zed wolf 12-02-2006 03:07 AM

Martian Has been around a while now and still always has nice things to say about fellow forum members. Way to go Martian, Very cool!

Crack 12-04-2006 10:22 AM

I actually went and read a bunch of Zed wolf's posts to try to find out what kind of person he is. After reading though the first 20 or so, I conclude that he is just an all around nice guy. Which is more than I can say a lot of people I know.

Supple Cow 12-10-2006 09:12 PM

Crack is pretty darn funny, even if sometimes it's in that "is he on crack?" kind of way. ;)

(I guess that's all part of the crack program.)

spectre 12-10-2006 09:16 PM

Supple Cow is smart, fun, funny, tough, a damned good person, and a total sweetheart. I'm glad to have met her and consider her a friend. :)

snowy 12-10-2006 09:22 PM

Spec is just an all-around nice guy and always there to lend a hand or an ear when either are necessary.

:)

mixedmedia 12-11-2006 02:47 AM

onesnowyowl seems genuine and nice and knows how to make a proper bowl of Cream of Wheat. And I hear she teaches, so we must offer her our thanks. Thanks, snowy!

Bill O'Rights 12-11-2006 05:29 AM

mixedmedia? She's got it goin' on! Very attractive, with plenty of substance to back it up. In other words...the girls got a brain, and she ain't afraid of using it. As comfortable discussing politics as she is sex and cooking. She's no ball of fluff, this one. No sir...she makes you think. And...just as a little frosting to the cake...she's in my age group.

Oh...an MM? I absolutely flip over those glasses, by the way. Boys don't make passes at girls that wear glasses my ass. Rawrrr

Charlatan 12-11-2006 05:37 AM

Bill O? He's a mensch.

Not too many people that I can say that about but Bill is on that list.

(by the way, have you seen him hang from a wall by his finger tips? The guy is practically spiderman)

maleficent 12-11-2006 05:57 AM

Oh yay I get to wax poetic about charlatan...

handsome, kind, intelligent, silly, funny, cute as a bug, adventurous - not many people would pick up and move to the other side of the world - and above all else - loves his wife and children... loves his wife so much he married the girl :D and whilst i've never heard him speak he probably has that cute little canuckistani accent that's so charming

A woman with the biggest heart I have ever seen ... and she's picked one of the coolest cities to call home - makes me a little jealous

Her title says it all... Good Human. From those who have met her, they say great human would be more accurate. :)

Bill o' Rights. Smart, funny, down to earth. Three of my favorite qualities all wrapped up in one glorious hunka man. And I love his choice in avatars. Speaking of which, I have a confession. My daughter nabbed your "attempting to care" avatar. She walked by one day and said "ooh, let me see that." Grabbed the mouse and saved it...just like that.

Ehhhhh, kids....

And, gawrsh, thanks for the nice things you said about me. *blush*
