Sultana 12-11-2006 08:38 AM

mixedmedia is warm, funny, personal (as in revealing things about herself), sexy in attitude as well as in looks. She gives great advice. She's a standout, a knockout, and I'm happy to give her a shout out!

She offers the witty banter like no otha--and to me, that's the most precious currency of the realm.

Glory's Sun 12-11-2006 08:58 AM

Sultana always has great insight and great advice. She's a great dancer and she tells ya exactly how she feels.

:)

Bill O'Rights 12-11-2006 10:40 AM

You never have to guess where guccilvr stands. Unafraid to call a spade a spade, he'll tell you. I may not always agree with him, but you have to admire his anabashed and forthright attitude. He will not shy away from defending a contrversial, or unpopular opinion. And he will back up his stand, not with citation upon citation of pointless reference, but with in your face suck on it logic.

Fly 12-11-2006 01:20 PM

ahhh Bill............

he's funny and quite witty too........and he really likes poinsettas.

maleficent 12-11-2006 01:53 PM

Cute behind, just ask him he'll show it to you.. great sense of humor and just an all around warm guy - he's a big ole sweetie pie and very talented musically too... I love his music :D

TexanAvenger 12-11-2006 01:59 PM

Helluva woman, Mal is. Witty, smart, and the first to compliment a friend.

And never believe she's as evil as her handle would have you think...

Supple Cow 12-11-2006 07:28 PM

He may be full of unfocused passion, but that there is a lot of fire for such a young man. TexanAvenger is full of heart.

Martian 12-11-2006 10:27 PM

I always feel sort of bad for the people who put this thread into remission. Needless to say, when I tracked it down I didn't expect to see Supple Cow at the bottom of the list. I find it impossible to believe that there isn't a single soul here who has something worthwhile to say about this charming, intelligent and attractive young lady.

mixedmedia 12-17-2006 08:31 PM

Martian started a Radiohead thread....that's good enough for me. :)

spectre 12-17-2006 08:48 PM

mixedmedia is intelligent, funny, and cute. I think it would be difficult for anyone to find anything negative to say about her.

nofnway 12-18-2006 06:32 PM

Spectre is a shining example of kindness and human dignity, as well as devoid of rancor

florida0214 12-19-2006 07:19 AM

nofnway has a way to use words that make poetry sound like an englishmen with a mouth full of marbles.

Philangicality 12-19-2006 11:14 PM

florida0214 is articulate with the female species. His legendary status led him to influence the "Bang Bus" reality serries.

xepherys 12-20-2006 10:59 AM

Philangicality can actually bring to light the "Bang Bus Reality Series" in a manner that's more than likely true... this is worth many kudos!

Telluride 12-23-2006 12:03 PM

Xepherys has a really funny avatar, and apparently is serving our country in the military.

spectre 01-25-2007 12:33 AM

Definitely a good person. Since being sick kept him off tfp, I'm glad he wasn't sick for too long. :)

WoundLicker 01-25-2007 12:55 AM

So far you all look like champs.

mixedmedia 01-25-2007 02:51 AM

WoundLicker, I don't know you but you are from Calgary and I'm thinking that's probably cool. Your username is kind of gross, but not inconsistent with the subversive attitudes that I often admire (ie, I could get used to it). Welcome to tfp. :)

aKula 01-25-2007 04:21 AM

Mixedmedia has recently injected a lot of fun into tfp with her threads on stockings.

Shadow_fire 01-25-2007 02:52 PM

aKula recently complimented Mixedmedia...and is obviously cool

shesus 01-25-2007 06:29 PM

Shadow_fire is making his way around the boards. He is one newbie that I've taken notice of so either we just post in the same area or his posts are that good. It'll take some time to know for sure. :p Welcome to TFP and continue contributing. :)

Shadow_fire 01-25-2007 06:30 PM

Shesus has a whole eight arms available to hold you, and says kind things about people even if they are newbies.

spectre 01-25-2007 06:32 PM

shesus is a great teacher and one of the kindest people I've ever met. She's a great friend, and I feel very lucky to be able to know that. :)

*edit* Shadow_fire beat me to it. Shadow_fire has quickly taken to the forum and chat. He's making himself known very quickly and it looks like he'll be regularly noticed name here very quickly.

Ourcrazymodern? 01-25-2007 07:47 PM

I've seen spectre making sense even in tilted nonsense. And that bear crushing the G!

Shadow_fire 01-25-2007 07:48 PM

OCM is just a generally nice person as far as I can see, and amazing at writing haikus on the fly

A tarantula
Not cockroaches after all
Still weird kinda porn

LOL

mixedmedia 01-26-2007 02:46 AM

Shadow_fire seems to have his head screwed on just slightly off center and still he can string together words and sentences in an enchanting way that makes you think 'yes.' I love that in a person.

Lucifer 01-26-2007 03:41 AM

mixedmedia has a quirky sense of humour in her posts, a stocking fetish, an incredible photographer' eye....Oh, and did I mention her legs?!!!

shesus 01-26-2007 04:53 AM

Lucifer is a really cool guy that I enjoy talking too. I am still feeling horrible about not meeting up with him when his ship docked near Chicago. I hope that he's the forgiving sort of chap too. I believe that he is.

Charlatan 01-26-2007 05:38 AM

Shesus is a bundle of cool and a sack load of potential. The tough bit is I think she sometimes loses sight of that. Given time (she has lots of support from JJ) she will eventually rule her world.

(for more reference just sing the theme to the Mary Tyler Moore Show).

Bill O'Rights 01-26-2007 05:53 AM

Charlatan? He wrote the book on cool. (with the exception of a brief flirtation with a Flock-Of-Seagulls haircut, in the eighties) A formidable force within the TFP, he uses logic, reason and common sense when approaching an issue. Calm, collected and levelheaded...yet not bashful at all about calling someone out on bullshit.

spectre 01-26-2007 08:55 AM

Bill is smart and funny. With every post of his, you know you're either going to laugh at a joke of his or your going to really think about what he says. You can really tell when he says something that it's well thought out.

Glory's Sun 01-26-2007 09:39 AM

Spec is always helpful and he always lets you know exactly where he stands on a subject. He's a great admin and a TFP'er! :D

I just hope he doesn't gloat too much when Da' Bears win

maleficent 01-26-2007 11:43 AM

gucci is a cat hating pain in the... oh waiy - something nice :D

:smooches:

Gucci is a dog loving... tell it like it is kinda person - honesty in a person is a very cool trait - especially when that honesty isn't sugar coated :D

GO BEARS!!! (it's become a pavlovian response now )

abaya 01-26-2007 12:12 PM

Oooh, oooh, Mal... I'd better get in here before someone else beats me to it... :D

Mal was one of the first people who really helped draw me in to TFP. She welcomed me here with PM's and even sent a Christmas card, one year. :D I read her posts and journals with great interest, even if she might get crabby at me for doing so. :) And I am so happy to hear about her new feline companion... she sounds like a right scrappy match for Ms. Mal. :D (That's a compliment.) We don't agree on everything but I am grateful for her presence on TFP.

randygurl 01-26-2007 12:20 PM

I don't know Abaya very well but her posts always have great insight and I love her outlook on life. She truly seems like the type of person I would be proud to call 'friend' and I'm really happy that she has someone in her life to love - its a wonderful thing and anyone who has found that is lucky in my eyes!

Lucifer 01-26-2007 12:24 PM

I don't know randygurl at all, but seeing as she's a fellow Canadian, then she must be freaking spectacular.

Giant Hamburger 01-26-2007 01:19 PM

Lucifer has access to enough salt
http://s95084514.onlinehome.us/image...altmonster.jpg
to satisfy my needs!

ngdawg 01-26-2007 01:25 PM

GH is mouth-watering goodness.
And a little freaky, which is always a good thing (cue Martha)

Chimera 01-26-2007 02:09 PM

ngdawg....it a Vexingly Veluptuous example of Feminine Frustration, with Beautifully Bodatious Buxom Bossom Benefits.

Shadow_fire 01-26-2007 03:08 PM

Chimera is new just like me, so that makes him automatically cool man.

Ourcrazymodern? 01-26-2007 03:55 PM

Shadow_fire
makes sense all the time.
A good soul!

Shadow_fire 01-26-2007 04:34 PM

Everything said,
About OCM
Was too true

streak_56 01-26-2007 04:36 PM

Shadow_fire

sure knows how to keep this thread alive!

hambone 01-26-2007 04:42 PM

streak appears to be a high energy guy who puts his heart into what he enjoys, such as hockey

Sharon 01-26-2007 05:32 PM

hambone has a healthy appreciation of womens' leg undergarments. :)

Shadow_fire 01-26-2007 05:39 PM

Sharon seems like a really nice person in general, and she seems to post everywhere I do.

Charlatan 01-27-2007 04:42 PM

I've been seeing Shadow_fire around the board increasingly. I always like seeing newer members who take to the TFP like a duck to water.

mixedmedia 01-27-2007 04:46 PM

Charlatan is really cool and he knows a lot about old movies. And, apparently, he just can't keep still in the presence of a bad ass bass groove. This I can respect.

Sweetpea 01-27-2007 04:53 PM

mixedmedia brings something extra special to our community. She's intelligent, witty and has a flair for posting things I find interesting. She is also really kind. Great member to have here and we're all lucky for it. :icare:

Grasshopper Green 01-27-2007 05:02 PM

Sweetpea infuses this forum with happiness, positivity, and a bright smile. She makes the board a better place to be :)

JumpinJesus 01-27-2007 08:04 PM

I can't explain it but everytime I see medusa's name on a thread, I think, "It's nice to see her around." I think it's because she seems like such a genuinely good person.

Sharon 01-27-2007 08:15 PM

JumpinJesus got us all talking about spontaneous masturbation. I think that on its own qualifies him as a mention in this thread!

Konichiwaneko 01-27-2007 08:39 PM

Sharon is a beautiful name, and also I share her outlook on the topic of disease.

I don't think we are all in love with dying though.

shesus 01-27-2007 08:50 PM

Neko is my second favorite kitty. He is a pretty cool guy, but I think that's because his big sister is so awesome. :p Plus, he was cool enough to visit us in WV for Christmas.

spectre 01-27-2007 08:54 PM

One of the nicest people I know. She's always willing to listen and to help out. She's definitely the kind of person you want as your friend, and I'm lucky enough to say that. Even if she does fall asleep during mst3k. :D

Charlatan 01-27-2007 08:55 PM

I love the Shesus and JJ show. I watch it every day.

One day I hope to travel to Chicago so I can sit in the studio audience. I am told that sometimes they let audience members interact.

Shesus is a doll. I am really glad she decided to take part in the board (seems like just yesterday).

________________________________

Too slow!

Spectre is one of the main people here on TFP. He may not post a lot but if you ask him, he knows whats going on in just about every nook and cranny of the TFP.

That said, this power has never gone to his head. He is even keeled and, from what I can tell, a really sweet guy (though his love of metal seems to indicate a dark satanic core).

JumpinJesus 01-27-2007 10:12 PM

Charlatan was nice enough to lend me his rubber raincoat before he left for Singapore. Unfortunately, I am unable to return it to him since it's now "used".

Lucifer 01-27-2007 10:47 PM

JJ is a cool dude, he's married to Shesus (one of the world's sexiest women), and has a killer photographer's eye...did I mention that he is Markie Mark's doppelganger?

Sharon 01-28-2007 09:13 AM

Ahhh Lucifer... the little devil who changed me from a "good girl", and made doing bad bad things very very enjoyable.

mixedmedia 01-28-2007 12:06 PM

Sharon has one of the quickest wits on this board. Second only perhaps to that World's King gentleman. I really enjoy her exuberant and fun-loving style.

Elphaba 01-28-2007 12:52 PM

There are no mixed feelings about mixedmedia's contribution to TFP. She embodies the goal of "evolution" that we share. :icare:

shesus 01-28-2007 12:54 PM

mixedmedia has a lot of fun posts and I enjoy stockings almost as much as her. Plus, she's a fan of Nin...that's an A in my book.

Oops, Elphaba has faster fingers than me. She is a member on the board that stands by her opinions and behind her beliefs.

Sharon 01-28-2007 01:18 PM

shesus has a really cool sig, in fact I'm wondering now where she got it from.

Ourcrazymodern? 01-28-2007 02:13 PM

Sharon is quick-witted and often charming.

Sharon 01-28-2007 02:18 PM

Ourcrazymodern does sweet things like responding after me when I guess his name in the "Predict who will post after you" thread. :)

spectre 01-28-2007 02:31 PM

Sharon always has something nice to say about everyone. :)

Sharon 01-28-2007 03:07 PM

spectre is an anagram of respect, and proves that admirably by posting in said fashion.

Ourcrazymodern? 01-30-2007 07:42 PM

Sharon's caring intelligence and sense of humor shows through in every post.

Sharon 01-31-2007 03:19 AM

I don't know exactly what OCM's sig means, but it sounds cool. :)

healer 01-31-2007 05:32 AM

I'm still figuring Sharon out, but so far she seems great. :)

Honest, kind and smart, coupled with some good advice and a great sense of humour.

Chimera 01-31-2007 05:42 AM

Healer....has been shown to be a well rounded, and compelling contributer to this community. Often posting a wisdom thet creates true discussion.

amonkie 01-31-2007 06:05 AM

While sometimes there is a crisis of identity ....within his heart is motive toward good .. and effort to help others.

Charlatan 01-31-2007 06:18 AM

Amonkie is the best. She is one of the most caring people I know. Not only that, she's a brainiac. She's got it all going on.

mixedmedia 01-31-2007 06:47 AM

Charlatan seems to have an unflappable, good-natured personality. I admire his measured yet candid interaction with the folks here. And I respect his ability to sidestep conflict and promote resolution without taking sides.

pan6467 01-31-2007 06:52 AM

MM's spirit comes from a different era. She is more like a sassy, beautiful Bette Davis, Rita Hayworth, Lauren Bacall..... the type of dame that gave as good as she got, but was also very loving, faithful and protective of what was hers......

I admire and respect her.... don't always agree.....

Bill O'Rights 01-31-2007 06:58 AM

Not one to sit around and let you wonder what he's thinking, Pan has been getting much better at controlling hs emotionalism, and getting to the meat of the topic. His replies come from the heart, and are much better thought out, of late.
Although I may not always agree with his viewpoint...he always makes me think. That's a good thing.

Sharon 01-31-2007 09:33 AM

Bill O'Rights never fails to chime in with knowledgeable insight on any given topic. His involvement only seems to add value to any discussion.

Telluride 02-04-2007 01:09 PM

Sharon's avatar and profile picture are pretty cool!

Angel 02-08-2007 07:34 PM

Telluride wins points for being a Donor and having a unique username. In addition that avatar ROCKS! :)

spectre 02-09-2007 01:20 AM

Angel is a total sweetheart. Even though she's been gone for quite a while, she wasn't forgotten. Great to have you back. :)

Lucifer 02-09-2007 05:03 AM

Spectre is one cool dude who gets to hang out with JJ and Shesus, something I can only dream about doing one day.

Charlatan 02-09-2007 06:34 AM

There are many great things that can be said about Lucifer but I am just going to point out that this is the guy who sent me Battlestar Galactica season 2 on DVD so I wouldn't feel out of the loop (it isn't playing here).

Who else would do something like that I ask you?

Psycho Dad 02-09-2007 06:47 AM

I had to have a g-mail invite one day. Not wanted, but NEEDED. I likely broke the rules here the way I posted asking for one and Charlatan hooked me up (and many others offered too as well) there was no fuss and huff. Just help when I needed it.

Sharon 02-09-2007 08:21 AM

Psycho Dad is mulletproof, an admirable quality in a man.

Charlatan 02-10-2007 08:32 PM

Sharon is new to the forum but it feels like she has been here all along. She fits in like a dirty shirt (as my Mom would say).

amonkie 02-10-2007 09:46 PM

Charlatan is so cool he has his own Gargoyle ... who I am going to visit and pat on the head later this afternoon :D

Toaster126 02-11-2007 03:53 AM

Thanks to Amonkie's generousity, my keychain glows in the dark, which came in handy this morning when I was trying to find them amongst the pussies in the pass-out room at a house party.

ARTelevision 02-11-2007 07:12 AM

T'126 knows what I think of him.
He is a good man and a fine TFP member.

ngdawg 02-11-2007 07:03 PM

Art is a deep intellect with incredible talent. A man who truly eats life and savors every bite.

pan6467 02-11-2007 07:08 PM

NG is a beautiful woman, who has grown and blossomed here. She has a sense of who she is and likes that person. I like that person too.

Sharon 02-12-2007 05:29 AM

Pan always says what he thinks, and what he thinks is almost always insightful, knowledgeable and a little controversial. ;)

amonkie 02-12-2007 05:43 AM

Whether I have time to actually respond or not... Sharon almost always has something to stay that makes me think- always a good thing!

aberkok 02-12-2007 06:08 AM

Amonkie goes a long way for her friends....literally!

maleficent 02-12-2007 06:34 AM

aberkok is always so friendly - never has a cross thing to say about anyone and is a great journal reader and writer - full of interesting things to say... and is one of those adorable canadians :D

shoegirl 02-12-2007 08:05 AM

Mal's blog might be my absolute favorite thing to read while I'm at work. Anytime I get caught up on my work or anytime I've got some down time, I can't wait to read funny gym stories or an update on Ginger. Mal, ya make me smile. :)

Sharon 02-12-2007 08:30 AM

shoegirl's avatar and name embody one of the coolest things about being a chick. :)

Angel 02-12-2007 06:22 PM

In the short time since I have been back, I have noticed Sharon is an avid poster and she seems to have a friendly & inviting way about her.

Grasshopper Green 02-13-2007 04:52 PM

I really don't know much about Angel, but he/she made it back to TFP after an absence, which is fantastic, and hopefully will make this forum an even better place to be! :)

Angel 02-13-2007 07:23 PM

Medusa's location description alone shows a good sense of humor, anybody in the same general area would agree. :)
Oh, and I mustn't forget, *spoken in my most playful southern drawl* I am a lady through & through! ;)

amonkie 02-13-2007 07:58 PM

I have awaited the return of Angel... especially for her contribution to Tilted Lit - one of my favorite writers to read in there :)
