Our colors were red and white. Mascot - Cavemen.

I played football at two high schools.

I was a Lion (blue and white)

and a Black Cat (black and gold)

Black and Gold -- The Mighty Yellow Jackets

I know those colors well. We always got our asses handed to us by you guys. Y'all had one helluva kicker though, always hit the score board with the PAT kick and consistently put it in the end zone on kick-off.

Our rival was Taft High School whose colors were red and gold. We used to have to do up & downs if ever we wore red out on the practice field. The irony of it though is that my Alma Mater's colors are red, white, and yellow, so it was interesting not being able to wear blue when I was still playing college ball, as most of my work-out gear (under armour, bandannas, etc.) is blue.

I attended school at the crosstown rival, and our mascot was the Crimson Tide (crimson and black). I remember one year the Spartans came out with these ribbons for our rivalry football game that said "Bleach the Tide". Yeah, our mascot was totally lame.
