i used to always wear a suit where the straps could be let down... and usually did the NUDE thing in the tanning bed. whether doing the "fake and bake" at the salon, or in my back yard... i always tried to avoid tan lines... until Willow...
He ADORES them... says the "highlighted" areas of the white creamy skin lend to that whole notion of the "forbidden zone"... i can definately see that now... seeing nice white creamy breasts or rear checks, contrasted against the rich tan skin of the other parts of the body leaves those areas feeling erotic now in some way... i still let the straps in the back down when tanning, so if i'm wearing backless dress or something like that, i don't have crissy-crossy marks all over my back... but the rest stays "virgin white" *smirk* |

I prefer the lady to suntan topless and get tan lines on the bottoms.. are great!!!! it's like a highlighter highlighting the best parts!!!!
I also like when they make little henna and shadow designs.... my wife.. she doesn't like to go out into the sun.. she's very very very light skinned...

I do not tan. I burn and scream and peel. Repeat throughout the summer.
The women I prefer usually are pale and burn easily. I'd imagine our children will be vampires.

I prefer light tan lines. Which is to say IF you are going to tan then tan nude every third time or so. That way there are noticable lines but its not some MAJOR change

At this point the poll is unanimous for tanlines.
That should tell you how I voted. I have only burned once in my life (all day on the beach in Hawaii can do that to you). I tan (not burn) so easily that most people are jealous. That said, I try to avoid getting too much sun. Since I play golf, I have a "farmer's" tan. That makes me look funny in a bathing suit. I don't use tanning booths. So, I don't do the beach too often. Of course, I am hypocritical when it comes to others. I love tanlines. I think springs comments about highlighting and forbidden zones about sums it up for me.

I'm confused as well denim. I have them, I always get a nice tshirt tan and sock tan in the summer. My girl right now is pretty fair skinned, so she doesn't really have tan lines, just smooth white skin all the way and I like it. I can't say I would be a big fan of tan lines though, I'd rather a girl be lighter then just dark in some areas.

Do you like them, mainly. I don't like tan lines on my own skin, but living in an apartment house means I don't have an own yard for sunbathing and I don't want to go to a nude beach, full of old farts glaring at you. I got a few swimsuist and bikinis, but it's always fun to have to buy new ones. Right now I have set my eye on Speedo's tankini set. It isn't a Wicked Weasel, but I could wear it with jeans and bicycle to beach or park. |

I guess I'm the "odd" one here.
Other than a tiny little butterfly on my right breast and a tiny little heart on the left side of my lower abdomen, I am tan everywhere. I prefer to tan nude. The white butterfly and heart add a nice contrast and draw the eye to those "forbidden zones" much like a suit line would.

I prefer no tan lines. In my mind, they break up the curves, much like camaflage. They also remind me of all the DNA repair proteins being forced into overtime.

Red heads and the sun just don't mix. I can get a sunburn on cloudy day, and I havn't been on a beach for 5 or 6 years. That day I got a 2nd degree burn on my arms and shoulders with just 30 minutes of sun.
oh, well as for what I like on the ladies, no tan lines please.

I don't like tan lines. They just look horrid to me. Others have said that they highlight the certain areas, but what if I like all of it? I just hate seeing the bright white areas and the other areas being nice and dark. It looks like crap to me.

There is nothing hotter than tan lines. They combine the feeling of somthing left to the imagineation, with the luck of seeing it all.
It's the reminder of what you are being lucky enough to view. I LOVE TAN LINES!

I am a total sun lover...I'm a leo (read - sun sign) so that says it all. If I don't get enough sunshine I curl up into a little ball and sob softly...you can probably guess I'm one of those lucky ones that tans very easily. I will die of skin cancer one day I'm sure as I think sunlotion is an evil device of the devil. (I'll catch s*** over that statement I'm sure ) Anyways....I hit the tanning beds when the weather sucks but always always naked....it's the only way to go and very sensual in it's own way. Love the all over brown look. But in the summer I'm always out in my garden so I end up with some tan lines. Personally I think they are sexy - goes back to what others have said about the forbidden zone thing. I like tan lines on a guy too - nothing better than a naked guy laying on his stomach on white sheets with that great tan and white butt! I love it!

Yeah I'm sure it must be a pain to avoid tan lines but I really don't like the look. The contrast just looks really odd. I thought everyone agreed with me but clearly I am wrong.

I can stand glaring tan lines. They irk me for some reason. ESPECIALLY, when someone has a bathing suit on and it isn't the suit they got tan in, so the lines criss cross, ugh, I think that looks pretty ugly. I am a really big fan of the tiny little sun "tattoos" that you can get, when you stick a little design in when you tan, and then after words it will be a little paler (even a word??) then the rest. I like that a lot. Slight tan lines are ok. But i prefer:
[qoute]Other than a tiny little butterfly on my right breast and a tiny little heart on the left side of my lower abdomen, I am tan everywhere. I prefer to tan nude. The white butterfly and heart add a nice contrast and draw the eye to those "forbidden zones" much like a suit line would. [/quote] I can't say it any better than that. But in the end. It doesn't really matter. I can have my preferences though.
