Wow, you all seem to have such specific things you wish to accomplish before your deaths. I have nothing in particular I want to do before I pass... I guess I'd just like to see my future children grow up and be happy.
I want to die a happy, old, senile lady with my happy, old, senile husband by my side. Unless I outlive him... in which case, I will look forward to seeing him again in heaven Am I boring or what? |

Old signature just wasn't doing it for me anymore, so now I have this new one. It's equally as stupid but at least it looks really long. I'm probably just going to keep typing until I run out of things to babble about and see how many people actually read this. I once ran down a hill, fell down and hurt my elbow; my mom said I would be ok, she kissed it and made it all better. I've run out of things to say now, so if you have read this whole thing, congratulations you get a gold star! Last edited by zxello; 09-22-2004 at 12:57 AM.. Reason: added what i want to do..... |

Fire a mini-gun
Drive a rally car! Subaru WRX Impreza would do just nicely. Lots of mud. Get a #3 combo at Wendy's and "double the beef." Six patties, one sandwich, awesome. Convincing them to do it would be the hard part. Find a girl who loves me! Sappy sappy joy joy Travel somewhere besides here. Go somewhere that is sparcely populated!

I'd like to make a meaningful, lasting contribution to mankind. As yet I have no idea how, or specifically what, but I'm looking for opportunities.
Note that I choose 'mankind' over 'my fellow man' because, for the most part, I really don't like my fellow man. Seemingly as a rule, rather than the exception, he is self-absorbed, thoughtless, avaricious and cruel. I like to think that 'Mankind' somehow escapes the vulgarity of the common man and achieves a more noble essence.

Build a house.
I had decided about this long before I saw "Fight Club" (a member of project mayhem says the exact same thing) and before I saw "Life of a House". Lots of hand work and attention to detail. Find the location, design it myself, build it from the ground up, doing as much as possible without contractors. |

oh, just remembered, a few years back i wanted to introduce the Olsen twins to heroin before i died... but it seems someone beat me to it.
so, i'll have to update... therefore, before i die i want to introduce Hilary Duff (or some other run of the mill tween pop star) to heroin.

From the words in Tim McGraws new song :
I went skydivn' I went Rocky Mountain climbin' I went 2.7 seconds on a bull named FuManchu and I loved deeper and I spoke sweeter and I gave forgiveness I've been denying and he said someday I hope you get the chance to live like you were dying

I've been keeping a list of things I'd like to do since college (almost 25 years ago). The list started on a sheet of ordinary notebook paper, grew to several sheets, and now exists as a file on my computer. I've been able to cross a few things off, but the ratio of subtractions does not match the ratio of additions.
Right now, I'd like to start with getting myself in shape (physically, financially) and then travel to Italy for a long -maybe permanent- stay. Once there, I'll review my list again and decide where I want to go from there. |
