Nope, never have come close to saying that. But I don't type it either, so that's probably why. I am kind of annoyed by people who do type it excessively. I like WTF, though. I type that sometimes, but I actually say that all the time. Fuck is my favorite word.

It's just that "what the fuck" is just THE perfect expression when something totally unexplainable happens. You'll also pronounce it slowly.
I'll just say it because it reminds me of the way it is used in the hotel scene in Boondock Saints. That scene has an extreme WTF feeling to it :)

roffle-mayo is how it's pronounced. Never said "LOL" or any similar acronym out loud :D

I've said LOL (pronounced loll), ROFL (roffle) OMG (ohmm-g), and WTF (whir-te-fuh), all in conversation with my mates who understand these things.

I laugh or say haha I laugh at that.

I've said LOL outloud before, even in public I guess!

But then, i'm lucky to be living in the dutch-speaking part of Belgium where the word "lol" also means "joke", so people could still interprete it in that way, therefor i don't look like a real geek...

I've never said LOL out loud IRL but last night night I did say,"WTF?" at dinner with my mom... the real funny thing about it was she responded with, "What does that mean? What the Fuck?"

Isn't it just shorter to say "whatthefuck", it's shorter to type WTF, but to spell it out loud, .... i don't know...
