need ALL of your input

Some of you have been extremelyy helpful to me, with my senior thesis documentary, but now I am asking for all of you to throw me a bone.

I am doing a documentary on Senior anxiety in college. Basically, I will illustrate the lives of three students, who are all getting set to graduate, but have nothing to do after college. They spent four years learning a proffesion, and now may never get a chance to do it. I have also gotten two faculty members who have agreed to be interviewed.

If any of you could recommend some open ended questions I could ask these faculty that would relate to my documentary, that would be awesome. Heck, submit some questions even for students, maybe they will add another angle to the story. If I use your question or idea in my piece, I will put your name in the credits, and upload the piece to you so you could see that your ideas actually went for a good cause.

LASTLY, about two weeks ago, I heard someone talka bout a poll, which read something like 60% of college students think they will be millionaires, and 2% end up being so. I would love to use that statistic in my pieve, but can't find the official poll anywhere. You'd be saving a life if you could pint me to it's direction, or tell me you heard it also.

Thanks for any input.

radio or TV?

what do you want out of the faculty members? It's hard to come up with questions without knowing your focus in that section.

It's a video production. want to know how they feel about the fact that students are having trouble getting jobs in their major, what their advice is for incomind students who don't go through these problems. A lot of people are graduating, and have just realized that their major is not something they really want to do for the rest of their lives. What's the faculty's advice to avoid this for incoming students and etc.

How about, What do you think will be the main contributing factor to why you will not attain a career in the field that you studied for?

Why did you decide to take your field of study with the limited job potential after graduation?

When choosing your major, did availability of jobs in that sector play a part in helping make your decision?

Hope this helps, and that I am giving you relevant questions.

For the faculty:

Does the current/future job market dictate what programs the School will make available/add/remove from the curriculum?

I'll keep thinking of some.

So I was bored and went on google and took me about 10mins to find these two and maybe they will help you out.. Couldn't find the exact poll on any KPMG site, but hopefully it will help point you in the right direction.. and the second one I thought might be useful to you.

http://www.homeownershipalliance.com...ech_061300.htm

"But when KPMG did a poll of college seniors about their work expectations, 74 percent said they expected to become millionaires. Not hoped. Expected."

http://archives.thedaily.washington....ors101096.html

"Seniors were then asked what they expected their quality of living to be in 20 years. Of those polled, 61 percent responded that they expected their quality of living to be higher than their parents."

Ask the students what their after-college expectations were, four years ago, and have them compare it to the reality. Ask them if they now think that their expectatations were realistics -- why, or why not?

How do you think a college education prepares students for the real world?

Does the college help get students placed in jobs?

Why should students spend most of their adult life paying off their college education fees?

Why is getting a college education so expensive?

Do you think the expense of college excludes people from getting a higher education and a better job?

What should students do with their college degrees during this period of economic decline, when good jobs are harder to get and keep?

Just some I came up with, I hope it helps
