Would you . . . .
Would you get in the ring with Tyson for a minute for 100,000? Now, before you say, "OF COURSE!" the stipulations are you can't take a dive, that is, until he legitimately knocks the hell out of you. You can run around the ring, but he can pursue. You cannot leave the ring.
I would not. Not even for 500,000. Maybe 1,000,000. Why? Because I'm pretty sure with one clean shot Tyson could put me into a coma or cave my face in. Would that 100,000 pay for your medical bills? Me in a coma ain't worth it. I've even heard girls, that weigh about 100 pounds say they'd do it for 100,000. Tyson + delicate bone structure = brain damage. What about you? I may just be a big wussy face! |

Hell no! Granted I'm a female and I weight about half what he does, but shit, that dude's insane! I wouldn't put it past him to try to rape me then and there. But not even if I were a big dude, no way. Rather shake hands with a grizzly bear.

It's certainly guaranteed . . . hypothetically. The reason I vehemently said no was because I once read a story about Tyson and at one point he playfully "attacked" the sports reporter to illustrate what he would do in his next bout. The reporter said something to the effect of having never seen a man move so fast in his life. Gave me the jubblies.

You could just spin around really fast. You'd get very dizzy, but at least he'd have a hard time finding a stationary body part to bite.

If it's guaranteed money......absolutely
I'm not tough, but I figure he'll only need to hit me once to knock me out. So, the question is how much damage could he do with one punch? And is it worth $100,000 or $500,000? I think I could take a punch for $100,000. Just don't ask me to help you move the next day

Sorry to burst anyones bubble in here, but I don't care if you do get to fight back, how nice your gloves are, or how well trained you may be, Tyson would own ANY tfper, I am quite confident. That being said.................you're damn straight I would do it. I think I could survive one punch.

A minute....2 minutes...half an hour...what difference does it make? I'm gona be unconscious after the first blow!
Would I do it for $100,000? Hmmm...that a lot of money....but so would my medical bills! I'd prolly do it for $500,000...I mean even if I end up in hospital for a month....I'd still make more money than if I was working. But then again...brain damage etc....hmmmmm. Dunno, tough one!

one minute huh... hmm. I'd be very tempted. If I get knocked out before the minute is up do I still get the money? Am I allowed cheapshots? For example, can I kick him in the nuts and then jump on his back? What kind of extra gear am I allowed to wear? (full pads, football helmet, etc.)
So, depending on the circumstances I just might hop in there for a minute. As long as he doesn't try to eat my face that is.

For $500,000, maybe. For a cool one million, damn right. I'd make some crappy moves and throw a couple punches at him before he hit me and knocked my ass out. At least I could say I hit a rapist, if I got a punch through
And a million dollar could cover quite a bit of medical bills. |

just to give you folks perspective. we have a guy here in the hospital in a coma and it took only 8 months for his bill to hit 1 million. he's still on a breathing machine.

Yep,
but then again, I have a very high tolerance for physical pain, and I'm a 2nd degree black with training in boxing also. Best way to fight Tyson is to not let him in the inside, fight defensive, fight smart. Besides, I've got these long-ass arms for a reason. |

I'd totally dodge the fucker.
Some may come to call me the artful dodger. Later, I'd change my nick name to Doctor Hamburger and buy a hamburger like van and drive around North America solving mysteries. Also, donuts will be plentiful and considered extremely tasty. |

No way, that's a good way to get killed. I've seen him lift heavyweight fighters off the mat with an uppercut so you could see daylight under their feet.

Meh, I've been hit in the face by a baseball before. So I'd just think of his fist as a big baseball. A big, fast baseball. Yeah, thats it.

I think realistically, even if you are a professional boxer less than a heavyweight, you'll get your ass owned my Tyson. He is one of the fastest people I've ever seen in my life, and even though people say they'll only take one punch from him and get knocked out, more likely he's going to come at you with a combo. Getting hit multiple times will knock you out and certainly cause serious brain damage from a guy that big, strong, and fast. I was going to say "yes for a million" but after thinking about it, I'm going to have to pass. He's a little crazy in the head, but I really like him as a boxer, though. My two cents.

For 60 seconds? Yes I would. Mostly running/dodging and even take a swing or two (if I can). I know that he could murder me easily, but I would take the minute in the ring.
