so its friday night, i'm 21, and im irresponsible with my money and dont feel like i should be investing in an IRA quite yet. time to get some booze

i want to know which one of you TFPers has the most entertaining drinking game (new ideas welcome). around here the most popular drinking game is a game called 'crud'. this game is said to have originated in a fighter base in canada but nobody's really sure about the origins.

how to play crud:

get a pool or snooker table and decide to either play with two teams or free for all. the first two people walk up to the table, each with a "cue" ball and a "target" ball.

both players use their cue balls to try to knock the target ball in. whoever does so first, drinks and, and depending on house rules, loses a "life". the way we play you get 3 lives and then you have to chug your drink if you want another 3. cycle through people as you see fit

you can play with combat rules which involves adding physical contact (gets more interesting if playing on teams). girlfriends, wives, and other attractive folk are highly encouraged to use any means available to distract the opponent.

i've heard legends of a Lord of the Rings drinking game but i'm unclear on the rules. what does TFP like to do whilst ingesting alcohol?

We like to play a little game called Touch Glass. Whenever you touch your glass, you have to take a drink. Works out pretty well.

we play a game called "whizz bang." difficult to describe, easy to play, lots of fun at parties. i will attempt to describe it. seriously, waaaaay easier to play than it sounds.

sit in a circle. you have an imaginary ball that you must pass around a circle. when someone fucks up the passing, they drink.

lets say you are passing the ball to your left. the person on your left either 1) keeps the ball moving using their right hand saying "whizz" (palm up, sliding motion towards the left) or deflects the ball back using their left hand in a fist saying "bang." (think bumping a volleyball with one arm straight up in the air). if they hold up their left hand and say "bang," the ball comes back to you, you then either pass with your left hand saying "whizz" or deflect with right saying "bang." etc.

it's a pretty fun game actually. give it a try.

In "One Brown Bear" which had transmogrified into "One Black Bong" by the time I played it, you had to recite the group's litany of insertions in order in order to pass the turn:

One Brown Bear belittled his brother...
Two tickled titties tickled each other...
Three throttled threesomes made nine altogether...
Four fucked-up fillies fomented further frolics...

Well, since there was no real idea involved, it made a grand drinking game, & you had to count backwards through the nonsense. It worked even better with bongs, I believe, although the alcohol involved more misstatements sooner.

Any time you said a "bad word" you had to take a drink. I got to where I could do the Sara song pretty well, but I always ended up with a few fucks and tits in Tara's song.

I'm not much of a drinker, but it was fun anyway. Oh, to be young again.

Flipcup and beer pong are my two favorite games. All you need there is a table to drink on. I had a rather cheap pool table that I just put a piece of plywood overtop of it and used it.

Card game wise, I like Asshole because you gain to ability to make someone drink.

A easy game I've played at a party was Port Starboard. Everyone plays the game at the same time and it only has one rule. You must drink with your less dominate hand (ie. if you hold your drink in your right hand normally, you must hold it in your left hand while playing). If someone catches you drinking with your dominate hand, you must finish off what you are drinking. You have to yell "Port Starboard" when you see this.

I say, build a beer pong table. The mods for them are endless and it makes a great discussion piece for your parties. Chicks like it when you know how to build things.
