8 Things You Love About the TFP
In honour of the 8th Anniversary of the TFP, tell me:
8 things you love about the TFP! Here's my list: 1) Definitely the people, I can say I’ve met many great people on TFP 2) The generally civilized demeanour of the forum 3) It’s one of the very few places online where I can actually discuss serious issues and expect a serious, well-thought out response 4) I have learned a lot about people on the TFP, the abundance of threads on peoples’ personal lives make it so there is always a new situation to ponder, and of course, the great thoughtful responses from the users 5) I have also learned a lot about sex and relationships on the TFP, and I love how for the most part people are very upfront about their experiences 6) I love how the TFP encompasses most topics (or tries to), I think it has something for everyone 7) It took me years before I noticed the blogs (lol) but these days it’s one of my favourite sections, I love reading about the lives of the other users I talk to in the forum, and also to share mine sometimes 8) The TFP is definitely one of my ‘go-to’ places online and whenever I feel I need to find out more about something or just want to feel ‘in good company’, this is where I go. There is one thing I don’t love...not being able to meet more TFPers in real life!

1) The people! I've met and made so many good friends here. This is a place where real life and the Internet can intersect.
2) The breadth and depth of information/topics covered. I think this is something we've improved on through the years. After looking through some of our really old threads, I think we've actually gotten better at conversing with one another. 3) The attitude. It is understood here that you are polite and you address the post, not the poster, or else you leave. Period. 4) The staff!!! I love you guys! You do an awesome job keeping this place on track. 5) The adventures I've had. I've gone to Rochester, NY and Chicago because of TFP, and had an amazing time in both cases. Even my SO agrees that TFP adventures and meetups can be great fun. 6) The ladies. I'm not one for being friends with girls, generally speaking, but I find it fairly easy to engage with the women of TFP. They're supportive and full of info, always willing to lend a ear. 7) The moobs. 8) The honesty. I've always felt like this is a place where people can come clean, so to speak. Part of this is due to the environment we've all worked to create here. I hope that we can keep being honest with one another and with ourselves in the years to come.

I can only pick 8?
I love it all, the good and the bad over the years have helped cement the TFP as a community of great people. Thank you TFP, thank you Halx and thank you fellow TFPers for a great ride so far. Here's to a new decade!

Haven't been posting here long, but the big, number one reason is the cleverness of the people. I can honestly say this site makes me actually laugh out loud more than any other site.
That, x8.

I love this place.
Reasons 1-8 is the people. I've met some great people in real life - introduced by the TFP. I've asked for advice here and gotten great well thought out responses with heart. I came the hallowed day that Fark gave a boobie link, but stayed for the awesome content, and have never looked back.
