Growth after Rebirth - Tilted Forum Project Discussion Community

I'm not going to lie. This board has surged back into existance in a way I never would've predicted. At the time of posting, we have Members: 4,864, Threads: 1,129, Posts: 18,928. All this in the span of some 50(?) hours.

It is simply amazing to me how much people have taken the rebuilding of the TFP in stride and done everything they can to "bring back favorite threads" or reposted the classic picture threads and everything else.

Personally, I never really did much posting and usually only in appreciation of people who posted picture sets that I liked. For the purely selfish reason that I was interested in posting more so I could get my avatar back, this rebirth kind of nudged me outside of that zone and I find myself perusing all of the boards and realizing just how much there is here. I know we can't expect things to continue growing at this furious of a rate, but at the same time that things are falling back into place so quickly is a sign of how...powerful? Meaningful?...this forum is for a lot of people. Just wanted to comment.

Thanks for all the work getting this back up, Halx and others.

nothing makes halx feel as appreciated as sending money to people he doesnt know, such as me.... *hint hint*

Seriously though, if you want to show your appreciation, why not donate some money? i know i will come next pay check =)

I'm glad to see that people are venturing into the discussion boards that didn't before. Maybe some good has come from the crash? I'm not saying that the crash was good, just that maybe there are some positive changes that occured because of it. There is more to TFP than the titty board, and it seems like more people are realizing that now!

It worrys me that a lot of people are spamming in order to get their post count up

Otherwise: I am amazed at the amount of 'stuff' that people have managed to get in - The community thrives
