I'm not going to lie. This board has surged back into existance in a way I never would've predicted. At the time of posting, we have Members: 4,864, Threads: 1,129, Posts: 18,928. All this in the span of some 50(?) hours.

It is simply amazing to me how much people have taken the rebuilding of the TFP in stride and done everything they can to "bring back favorite threads" or reposted the classic picture threads and everything else.

Personally, I never really did much posting and usually only in appreciation of people who posted picture sets that I liked. For the purely selfish reason that I was interested in posting more so I could get my avatar back, this rebirth kind of nudged me outside of that zone and I find myself perusing all of the boards and realizing just how much there is here. I know we can't expect things to continue growing at this furious of a rate, but at the same time that things are falling back into place so quickly is a sign of how...powerful? Meaningful?...this forum is for a lot of people. Just wanted to comment.
