I'm grateful to be in a terrific school with well-behaved adorable first graders and a supportive staff. And a possible job offer! :D

Both of my bosses on a plane for China to be gone for 9 days. Even though I like them both...Woo-hoo! Maybe now I can get some work done around here.

The elderly gentlemen that asked if he could sit with me in a crowded restaurant. I was alone, and he was more than welcome to. I told him that reminded me of Germany where it was a considered normal to do such, and we went on and on.

A couple of hours of my own on a Saturday morning, after driving my mom to the hair dressers. Since my mom is suffering with dementia, it's often a hit and miss with Saturday time alone.... but for today's bit, I am grateful.

My screwdriver and an instruction booklet. I fixed my vacuum cleaner this morning! All by myselfs! Woo-hoo!

having enough money to pay a friend's extremely large bar tab without telling them it was me, and never planning on it, or expecting anything in return.

My brother's-in-law defibrilator and that he is once again out of intensive care.

today I am grateful that tomorrow is Saturday, and that means that at the horrible hour of 6 am all my kids will climb into my bed with me, and we will all get the chance to sit there in my bed and watch cartoons for an hour or so. It's my favorite Saturday tradition, even if it does mean waking up at 6am.

Today (everyday actually): friends, family, being granted the ability to do and think all those things that I take for granted, like sanity, walking, talking, hearing, seeing, feeling, touching..... etc.
I guess I am grateful for life and the life I have and live..... Lady Sage just adds that infinite amount of joy more to it. |
