I am thankful for a quiet day in the office yesterday in which I was able to do a lot of catching up making today much more smooth rolling. (I hope!)
And chocolate. I am thankful for chocolate. Especially Almond Joys. |
Online shopping... today I was able to look around and get information on a new stethoscope that I need to buy, compare information about various different models, and get pricing that will help me find the best deal.
Really it may sound a bit odd to be thankful for an online retail situation, but this is a tool i'll use every day to save lives or help people in trauma and medical emergencies... getting the right information on which kind of tool is best suited for me is really important, as some will not do as good a job as I need them to do. Also, finding the same item at various prices, the highest and lowest being a full $22 different, helps me save money in addition to not having to drive around trying to find those good deals and product info. I'm also thankful for my good health, a lot of people around me are sick- but at least i'm well and therefore able to help them out (which I am). |
For Friday and that it is a half-day for the students.
And tomorrow I'll be thankful that I don't have to get up at 5:30 to stand in the below zero conditions at 6:20 to catch the bus. :D |

Mmm, so grateful for my husband today. :icare: I love the way he extends his arm out for me to lay my head on his shoulder and snuggle into him every night, and how last night he spooned behind me and held me securely until I fell asleep. We derive any kind of hope we can from the minute nuances of imagination. "In here, only the mind can grant him power."
While my three very social roomates go out on dates and road trips, I get irrate and rageful when someone parks in front of the mailbox and I miss the mail, hoping that some little item I ordered might've been in the mix.
