Deese had maybe a couple of years left in him at the most, and they have a lot of 1st-2nd year linemen, to me that move was a a no-brainer.

Also Tai Streets is on the free agent market, so it would make sense if the Niners slashed a bit of payroll to keep at least one of its top 2 WRs.

Keep in mind also, that the Niners are picking 16th (barring some draft day deals)... in a draft full of WRs, they could walk away with a decent one.. especially if certain teams pick QBs (Cards, Chargers) and linemen (Giants) like they are projected to.
