This seems like a bad trade for everyone involved. There are CBs in the draft and while I do believe that the system is very important in Denver, Portis is a great RB. Bailey is a great CB, but this is not a fair trade. Although maybe Champ would have had the sense to touch Marvin Harrison when he was on the ground.
What are the Skins thinking? I agree you need a RB to compete, but they are easier to come by than a shutdown CB, especially a 25 year old shutdown corner. You don't need a stud RB if you just spent $43 million on a QB. Fix the O-line and the running game will improve, don't trade away one of your last high draft picks for a RB who will fail behind an awful line while making your pass defense awful. I know that Gibbs is a coach who doesn't want players who don't want to be there, but this is a bad trade.
