I just talked to a gun dealer about this problem- seems some ammo types dont feed worth a shit in the 10/22- it was just an in passing discussion when we were stuck beside each other at a gun show, each tending our tables, so I dont remember what brand he recomended, said that both he and a friend had had the problem that you describe, and that if you found an ammo brand that would work, then it worked like a champ and was one of his favorites....
