what ammo are ya using? The 10/22 is a gas operated gun, it sounds like the ammo your using is a little light for a semi auto. My 10/22 isn't terribly fond of Remington thunderbolts at all. It does like high velocity hollow-points like winchester super x, and similar products. I would try that.
