What they dont tell you is that you cannot fly a jet supersonically over US soil (except for the military of course), and that it costs $10,000 PER HOUR for fuel to fly that thing. You better have a hell of a lot more than the 1 million they are asking for if you want to be able to actually fly the thing. And for a subsonic jet, there are much better things you could buy. Realistically, only someone like Larry Ellison could afford something like that.
So figure 9 mil for the jet (assembled), plus $15000 per hour of flight (10k fuel, 5k maintenance--those things require obscene amounts of it), plus all the hoops you would have to jump through with the FAA, and it is more of lawn ornament than a practical toy.
