Simple Question

What is the fan speed of the default Intel CPU fans?

I just got a new 2.8Ghz P4, but when I stress the CPU its quickly gets to the high 50s. So I installed some monitoring software.

It reports that the CPU fan is going at 2600rpm but recommends at least 3000rpm. so is my fan going too slow.
